Gentle friend to all critters!
I’ve cared for animals my entire life (but have a special bond with cats and gentle, old-soul dogs). I have always had a deep connection and respect for animals. And with cats in particular, there's been this unspoken, reciprocal bond and knowing of each other. I approach every animal with patience, unconditional compassion, and honor for their needed boundaries and unique personalities. Over the past 15 years, I’ve cared for pets of all ages, from chaotic kittens to introverted dogs to older, sick companions who need a slower, softer approach. I’ve often been the person friends call when their animals are nervous, need insulin, or when they want someone to look after their home with intentional care and respect. I always carry food in my car for birds and strays, and I keep extra supplies at home for cats in need. I truly believe animals have an incredible ability to heal us, and I feel lucky to return that care whenever I can.

I create a calm, safe environment where animals can relax and feel understood. I pay close attention to their body language and needs, making sure they feel secure and cared for. When I’m visiting your home and welcoming a pet to my presence, I treat the space and routines with the same respect and gentleness I’d want for my own pet. I keep things clean, consistent, and quiet, especially for animals who may be shy or sensitive. My focus is always on building trust and making sure your pets feel safe, loved, and at peace while you’re away.

Schedule
I have a very flexible work schedule that lets me plan around what matters most. Since I set my own hours, I can easily build my days around caring for your critters and little loves. Pet care fits naturally into my rhythm, and is something I truly enjoy making time for.
- CatsViolet can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- I like to know as much as possible about each animal’s routines, preferences, and comfort needs. It helps me care for them in a way that feels familiar and safe. Please share any details about their personality, favorite spots, feeding habits, or things that make them anxious. It’s also helpful to know about any medical needs, sensitivities, or behaviors that might come up when you’re away. The more I understand about who they are and what helps them feel secure, the better I can make their time with me peaceful and happy.
