About Violet G.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
In my home, I feed my cat dry food in the morning and wet food at night with his medication mixed in. When pet-sitting at someone else's home, I follow the pet's normal routine. My sister once made me an entire Google Doc detailing how to care for her cats, which was very helpful! I like to keep their spaces clean and am very diligent about the pet's safety, which is my number one priority.

Lifelong Cat Owner and Lover
Cat care experience
I am a cat person first and foremost, with a special connection with elderly cats. I lost my 17-year-old soul cat last year, and the greatest joy of my life was giving her a proper “retirement home” during her final years. My 14-year-old orange boy, Rory, has some special needs, so I have experience administering medications and being a calming presence when it comes to dealing with pet health issues. I occasionally cat-sit for my friends, parents, and sister, at my home or theirs. I have taken care of 3 cats at one time. I love spending time with cats and will always jump at the opportunity to meet them. Please feel free to reach out, thank you! :-)
Reviews

We had Violet drop in on our kitty on very short notice for multiple days (2x a day). She did an AMAZING job! Our cat is a bit shy, but seemed very comfortable around Violet, which really put us at ease. She even administered ear drops, which our cat was not yet used to (and does not enjoy). With every visit we got multiple notes & pictures. She really went above and beyond 😊

Violet took great care of my cat! I’m so grateful to have been able to book her on a few days notice. She was super friendly and communicative and I would absolutely book her again.

Violet was absolutely amazing!! She went above in beyond in every way possible in terms of communication, cleanliness, attention to detail, and most importantly, taking care of our cats! I’ve booked with other sitters before on Rover that were great, but Violet was really someone who stood out to us and really showed she cared for our cats like they were her own. This was the first time I’ve ever booked with her and it definitely will not be my last time. Thank you for all that you did for us, Violet. We appreciate you!!

Seriously the best pet sitter I could have asked for!! Violet went above and beyond and was amazing in terms of communication. I will definitely be booking with her again next time! :)
