My wife and I live in Churt with our 2 children (4 year old and 2 year old) and our 8 year old German Shepherd, Miss. Remedy We live in a semi-detached house in the heart of Churt with a secure back garden and short drives away from some of the best walks in the UK (we are biased!). Frensham Ponds, Hankley Common, The Flashes, Devil’s Punch Bowl, Ludshott Common, Blackdown, Tilford Woods… the list goes on and we are very spoilt as all of these are within a few minutes drive from us. Remedy is great with other dogs and has been socialised from a very early age. Whilst we’re training her daily and she’s incredibly friendly, if your dog prefers alone time, we have the option to separate the dogs. As dog owners, we’re aware of the importance of consistency and routine and would welcome any commands and/or training you’d like us to continue with. We’ve had dogs since we were children, from Pugs to Border Collies to German Shepherds, and understand dogs are their happiest when they have enough direction, structure and guidance from their guardian. We have also looked after many different dogs that Remedy would be very familiar and social with all sizes and breeds. We've offered pet sitting services on the Rover app for over 5 years and you can see our reviews on there too. We ask the owners for the best sleeping arrangements for their dog as we are flexible - usually guest dogs prefer to sleep in the living room and we ask owners to provide a bed/mat their dog is familiar with. If boarding, we recommend leaving a piece of clothing that smells of home for comfort. We usually take Remedy out for 1-2 hours a day. When looking after a guest dog, we ensure at least one of us is home at all times to attend to your dog’s needs. As we have 2 small children, your dog must be socialised with small children - this is non-negotiable for us. Our dates are flexible so please message if any dates are not showing as available in the diary. Nothing is too much trouble (we’ve used puppy sitters previously and understand reliability and flexibility is key). Much love, Vilas and Perdita x

Our 12 month old Cavapoo has recently returned from a 2.5 week stay with Vilas and Perdita. He received an exceptional level of care and we were updated daily with messages and photos about his daily activities. He also really enjoyed spending time with Remedy and they formed a close bond. We will definitely use their dog boarding services again and cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you.
I would highly recommend Vilas and his wife Perdita. They took excellent care of my golden retriever Bruno. On top of that the love and affection he had from their beautiful pet Remedy in just one day was something beyond my expectation and was really heart melting. This also tells a lot about them. I was looking for someone with a pet so Bruno can socialise and have fun but he absolutely had a blast. Very professional and experienced couple. They even kept me updated with loads of photos and videos. With these guys your pet is in one of the best hands. So happy to have found them.
Rex had a fantastic week with vilas and perdita . He was well and truly spoilt . They sent lots of updates and lavished him with love. Thank you guys x

Vilas and Perdita looked after my dog while I was away on holiday. I honestly couldn’t ask for better hosts. Regular updates and pictures, I felt assured they were on top of Luna’s daily routine (something which was very important to me). Will absolutely book again!
I would trust Vilas to look after my 1 year old pointer anytime. Vilas has a young German Shepherd, and he is very gentle and loving with her. Vilas' GSD is exceptionally well behaved, thanks to the excellent training she has received growing up with Vilas. Your dog will be in good hands with V.

Schedule
My wife and I are at home. We walk Remedy 1-2 times a day for 1-2 hours, and happy to adjust this based on your dog’s needs.

We have a secure garden with ample space for your dog to run around. We are happy to recreate your dog’s home environment so they feel as settled as possible. We endeavour to create a home from home environment!

A typical day
We ensure your dog is stimulated both physically and mentally to ensure their needs are met. We work on building a solid foundation and trust with your dog throughout the day with positive play, structure and correction where needed! There are lots of nearby walks to explore including walking trails for on-lead adventures. They’ll spend the day with our 8 year old German Shepherd who has a heart of gold and loves nothing more than having a playmate.
