Hello, I am Victoria and I have experience caring for almost every kind of pet. I personally have rescued 3 senior Chihuahuas, who had special-needs and were medically fragile, super seniors. I also foster puppies, kittens, and young dogs for Espanola Humane often. I have experience with all sorts of pets from fish, cats and dogs to even horses. I have my own flock of 12 chickens. I promise to care for your pets exactly as you care for them in your own home. I am great with cats, having 3 kitties myself. I also grew up helping my mom trap-neuter-return feral cats in our community. I have years of experience with dogs of all sizes.Currently, I have one senior chihuahua of my own, and two cattle dog mixes, who I adopted from Espanola Humane. I grew up with medium & large dogs.I am an avid trail runner, mountain biker and all around outdoor enthusiast. Let me take your baby along on walks, or for the more energetic dogs, how about a long trail run? I can preform light grooming, or/and give medication. I have personal experience with separation anxiety in dogs and will do everything I can to help your dog if he/she struggles with anxiety. I know that each pet has his/her own wonderful personality, and would love to meet and get to know them!

Victoria and her husband were absolutely wonderful, and I can’t recommend strongly enough. Our dog, who can have separation anxiety, was so well taken care of, and was constantly getting to play with her dogs, hike, and be loved on. Victoria was very communicative, constantly sending photos and updates, all while understanding my Cordi’s unique needs. I feel so appreciative, and would recommend her to anyone!
We were visiting Santa Fe and needed a sitter for our basset boy Sam so we could spend a day at the spa and visit a national park. The moment I saw Victoria’s profile, I knew she was the one. When I reached out with the request she responded quickly and was happy to take Sam for the day. As soon as we arrived for the drop off, we knew we had lucked out. Victoria’s home is beautiful, in a quiet, scenic location, and clearly designed with animals in mind while staying artistic and clean. She has three friendly dogs, cats, chickens, and turkeys, which Sam loved. Victoria herself was warm and genuinely excited to meet him. We left Sam for 7 hours, and she took wonderful care of him, even walking him down the arroyo to help with his separation anxiety. When we picked him up, he was happy and relaxed with his tail wagging. This was our first time using Rover, and we found the perfect sitter on the first try. Victoria will be our go-to for every future Santa Fe trip. We highly recommend her for all your animal sitting and dog walking needs.
Victoria was wonderful! She was able to accommodate my dog’s stay at the last minute, and communication with her was excellent from the start. I felt completely comfortable and safe leaving my dog with her, especially since it was our first time. I would definitely recommend Victoria and would happily have her watch my dog again!
We were visiting Santa Fe and looked for a trustworthy, experienced sitter who could take care of our 11 months old puppy for a whole day (so we could go to some non-dog-friendly places like museums and Meow Wolf :)). Victoria has a beautiful house and garden right next to a forest. She has an extremely friendly dog of her own that is very patient with small dogs. She took such good care of Poe, he was so happy when we fetched him, and thoroughly the exhausted from a full day of play. When we're back in Santa Fe next time, we'll definitely contact Victoria
We brought our older dog with us to Santa Fe and realized that in order to see all the lovely art museums we needed to find someone to care for Zippy. Zippy has separation anxiety and we were worried about leaving him for an extended time. We had nothing to worry about. He really enjoyed his time with Victoria! He got to play with other dogs, watch the chickens, take walks. He was living his best life, while we were able to enjoy Santa Fe dog free. It was a win-win for everyone. I highly recommend Victoria for daycare.
Best dog sitter ever! Spencer came home nice and tired. Victoria sent multiple daily updates and photos. I was never worried about Spencer and could enjoy my vacation with peace of mind. Plus, he plays very well with all of Victoria’s pets!

Schedule
I am a full-time artist that and work out of my home studio. My week-day schedule is flexible. I would love to get outdoors with your dog when your stuck at work, or away on a trip.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced in yard. I will care for your babies like you do. I will walk dogs however you normally do. I can easily take your dogs on long runs or up to 3 walks daily. I will feed cats, provide daily enrichment through play or putting out toys, and clean litter-boxes daily. I will feed chickens/other pets, and make sure their space is clean and safe.
Pets
A typical day
I can take your fur-baby to the trails, or quiet dirt road walks. I have fully fenced in yard thats close to the SF National Forest. I can provide more challenging activities like trail runs, or even mountain bike rides for more adventurous dogs. Your fur-baby can nap in the sun while I paint, and you never have to worry about them being unsupervised, because I am home all day. Your dogs will also get the chance to play with my young dog, or lounge with my senior dogs in one of the many pet beds I have throughout my home.
