For Anxious/Skittish Dogs: ✓ Low-stress, Fear Free handling. No forced interactions. ✓ I let them come to me, use calm body language, and go at THEIR pace ✓ "Find it" games + distance to help them feel safe on walks ✓ Stick to your exact routine so home feels predictable For Senior Dogs: ✓ Gentle, shorter walks at their pace + lots of sniff breaks ✓ Help up/down stairs, paw checks, arthritis support ✓ Lots of comfy cuddle time and monitoring for changes I’m Pet CPR Certified and safety is always #1. Every visit includes fresh water, meds if needed, potty breaks, and photo updates so you can relax. I currently help care for a Bull Terrier 5-7 days a week and have worked with rescues my whole life. I don’t have my own dog right now, so your pup gets 100% of my attention. Safety, trust, and calm care come first. Your dog will have my full attention. I don’t have my own dog right now, so they get 100% of me. I currently help care for my friend’s Bull Terrier with walks, drop-ins, and overnights. **For Senior Dogs:** - Walks at their pace + lots of sniff breaks - Help up/down stairs, paw checks for arthritis - Monitoring for changes in appetite, energy, or gait - Lots of comfy rest and cuddle time **For Anxious & Skittish Dogs:** - Fear Free handling. No forced greetings. - Slow introductions. Let them come to me. - Calm body language + sticking to your routine - "Find it" games and distance to help them feel safe **For All Dogs:** - Pet CPR Certified - Fresh water, meals/meds per your instructions, potty breaks - Play tailored to their energy level - Photo updates + detailed Rover cards after every visit - Full home check before I leave Let’s do a free meet & greet so your dog can meet me first.

Vickie was great with both our dogs — Bella, our senior chocolate lab, Luna, our younger schnoodle. With Bella, she was careful, patient. Walks were short, easy. She helped with stairs, gave plenty of belly rubs, made sure Bella had a comfy spot to nap after. Bella stayed calm, happy the whole time. Luna’s high energy. Vickie kept up. They played fetch, went on sniff walks, had tug-of-war with her favorite rope toy. Vickie is reliable. She pays attention to what each dog needs. Makes it fun for any age. The photo updates of both girls together were the best. We’ll have her back.
I’m so happy to recommend Vickie — dogs light up when they see her! She’s got this amazing, natural way with animals. She’s patient, kind, and seriously loving with every dog she meets. Vickie is super dependable and pays attention to the little things — whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, meds, or just making sure they feel safe and happy. You can tell the dogs trust her and get excited when she comes back. I trust her completely with my own pets and would send anyone her way in a heartbeat. She treats every pup like her own, and honestly, they adore her for it.

Availability: - Weekdays: Morning walks before 8:30am + evening visits/walks after 5pm - Saturdays: After 4pm - Sundays: All day - I love building a consistent routine for senior + anxious dogs. Message me to find a time that works!

I will follow your feeding, medication, routine, and house rules exactly. **Before our first booking, please share:** - Feeding schedule, portions, and any allergies - Medications: name, dose, and timing - Potty routine, leash skills, and any fears or triggers - Emergency vet info + best contact number - House rules: furniture, rooms off-limits, crate details I’m attentive, follow directions carefully, and never leave your pet unattended during our scheduled time. You’ll get photo updates and detailed Rover cards so you can relax knowing they’re safe and cared for.
