I adore animals and their unique personalities! Pet owner my whole life but responsible for a pet directly for 18years+. American Red Cross Cat & Dog First Aid certified (can provide certificate upon request). Dog walker in college and medical school - small and large, rambunctious and docile, puppies and elders. Experienced with puppies (8 weeks) and geriatric (12-18yr) dogs. Experienced with all sizes. Note: NOT experienced with animals in heat or pregnant. Comfortable with bathing, walking, playing, feeding, medicating, and some discord/emergencies (have broken up fights, doggy Heimlich). I am not comfortable with aggressive dogs in public but at my discretion happy to care for them in your home/backyard etc). I am less experienced with cats but have grown to love them. I’ve been responsible for adult cats and weaned kittens. Not familiar with more trendy/niche breeds eg Bengals with specific needs; happy to learn and follow direction but please be aware my experience with cats is less than dogs. Happy to be a companion for your beloved pet! Of note: - Meet and greet for house stays strongly preferred. I want to know your pet(s) environments and needs! I also want to make sure our expectations during a house & pet sit are compatible! I want you to know who’s caring for your animals! - Details of pet(s) routines, likes & dislikes, and any special needs strongly preferred - ideally a list. What time do they eat? Favorite snack? Medication schedule? Triggers? Hates x etc… I want them and you to be as comfortable as possible, and me to be as equipped as possible. - I’d promise to abide by your home rules and care for your pet, send photo/video updates, be contactable, and notify you immediately in case of (God forbid) an emergency. I would expect that you are also reasonably contactable and open to questions / concerns. Thanks so much for trusting me with your pets.
