Pet care experience

A good day is spent with a dog.

Looking for a doggy daycare that doubles as an outdoor adventure? I’m your sitter! If you want your dog to return home happy, tired and thoroughly fulfilled, you’ve found the right spot. I work from home with a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize outdoor time. Every single daycare stay includes at least one 5–10km hike (or if requested, trail run), or a split routine of two 3–5km walks. I have experience with all breeds, but I specialize in high-energy working dogs (Cattle Dogs, Aussies, and Border Collies). My own best friend Metsä, is a 14-year-old Blue Heeler, so I deeply understand the physical exercise and mental stimulation these breeds need to stay happy. Metsä gets a minimum of 2 hours of outdoor time a day, and I can't wait to meet some new friends and hit the trails together!

It is such an amazing gift to leave your puppers for the day and know that they are well cared for! This is exactly what happened for us when Alexandra looked after our Missy! We received regular updates and photos of Juno living her best life...out on a hike and choosing her 'favourite' bed! She is part Staffie and that smile is unmistakable! Thanks Victoria for allowing us to have a stress free and enjoyable day!! We and Juno will see you soon!

Victoria was great with Otis, she sent pictures and videos of him throughout the day and took him on a nice long walk which was perfect so he could relax with me and my partner in our hotel room after a nice long day!

Your dog must be leash trained and non pull/lunge reactive to bikes, wildlife, people and other dogs. In winter we walk on snow and ice, and I wear ice cleats. But even with cleats it is a hazard to my safety if your dog is able to pull my feet out from under me. Your dog must be good with other dogs, and comfortable around my dog Metsä, who is a working breed that likes to be given space inside our home.
