Availability

I’m currently a flight attendant so have differing availability based on my roster. I generally work in tandem with my flatmate, also a Rover sitter to be more flexible with dates considering my schedule differs week by week. We have a miniature dachshund, who would love some company and new friends. I also volunteer in Dog Rescue centres across the US whilst downroute with work on layovers which involves dog walking, nursing and helping to clean out shelters and promote adoption campaigns. You can be rest assured that I have endless angles of experience and flexibility in my pet care.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a flat, however the building has an enclosed dog park within the grounds which the dogs will be able to run around and socialise with other pups, if they are willing and able. There is also a balcony within the flat where they can enjoy some sunshine. I have fully free schedules on my off days so potty breaks will be frequent, as well as long walks in a nearby park, or if your pets are fine with public transport, they can be taken to one of the larger parks in London to enjoy a pawfect day out! At home, the pets will have toys to play with and plenty of cuddles. My flatmate, (who is also a rover sitter), Willow A, helps out when they are not working and is also very well experienced with dogs so much so you can be assured that your pups are within safe and loving hands for the duration of their stay! For cats, I have litter boxes, plenty of toys and plenty of surface space for them to explore and play. Pets are allowed on furniture unless owner specifies otherwise, and any treats will be dietary specific by owners request!

Information Victoria T. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any specific allergies or dietary requirements as well as any special needs. I have experience caring for blind and deaf dogs, as well as senior dogs with mobility issues as all my parents retired guide dogs have either retired with me, or with other family members which I am still very involved with. * Please make sure your pet is flea treated before booking Boarding or Daycare. It is important to us for the health of our pet, and yours, that we keep this space a flea free and healthy environment. Thank you

A typical day

There is a really big park nearby which I love to check out with the dogs, play games, let out a good burst of energy in. If your dogs stay longer, I also have a list of dog friendly establishments where I can go about my day alongside your furry friend so they’ll never be left alone for any longer than 1 hour.

Pet care experience

As well as having our own miniature dachshund, I’ve grown up in a house of blind people where my parents have always had multiple guide dogs within the family. I have grown up looking after them, as well offering dogsitting and dog walking services to my neighbours since primary school age. I am heavily involved with charity work for assistance dogs and mobility training. Having guide dogs has come with a lot of extra benefits in the sense of having to be more aware of a dogs needs, as well as additional training on how to handle large dogs and be aware of their different commands and be alert to what a dog is asking for or implying. I am most confident and capable when looking after your furry friends, this includes being comfortable with larger breeds. I currently have a Dachshund and I have owned German Shepherds, Mastiffs, Retrievers and Labs growing up and my Rover experience has allowed me to gain a better understanding of different breeds that I may not have been familiar with before, so I can confidently say that now I have a secure understanding of how to care for your pets. I’ve also had cats all of my life so I am also very well aware of how to look after cats and have a good sense of what stimulation is required to keep happy and healthy pets.
