Hi there!! I’m Victoria, an experienced dog trainer who’s been working in the pet industry all across the country for over a decade, from San Diego to Denver to Asheville, and now here in Homer Alaska! I’ve recently relocated, and will be here on the Kenai Peninsula for the next couple weeks! I’m excited to work with some new clients. I’m also knowledgeable about hobby farms, and most exotics, from amphibians to reptiles to rodents, even tarantulas and hermit crabs! I have extensive experience training, puppy raising, and caring for all pet species. I’m currently primarily for housesitting, but am also available for walks and drop ins, and LOVE to take clients out for hikes and enrichment activities. I’ve spent the last several years living in both the Rockies and the Appalachians and am no stranger to a hike in the forest or on the beach with several dogs in tow. I specialize in reactivity and prefer to work with clients with more specialized care and behavioral needs, including young puppies, and feral cats. Safety, trust & environment
Walks take place in your neighborhood, and drop ins at your home, unless otherwise arranged. Safety is crucial to me, especially because I typically work with reactive dogs. I will not meet strangers or strange dogs on walks even if your dog is friendly or enjoys this. I will not take your dog to a dog park, or allow it to be off leash, even if these are part of your usual routine.

She was wonderful, I felt at ease at all times. She communicated great and was very helpful when I accidentally opened the garage door and one of my Yorkies was out and lost for 1 1/2 days. She left everything clean and organized when I got back. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs someone to watch their pets.
Absolutely wonderful! She was so responsive, the notes every visit were very informative and super helpful, and her personality, actions, and kindness were above and beyond. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of our fur babies while we were out of town!

Victoria is wonderful!! Having to leave our dogs at home is always difficult, but knowing Victoria was taking good care of our pups and giving them lots of snuggles was comforting. She even checked with me about halfway through our trip to see if she needed to pick up more meds for our one dog. She had noticed there were enough meds for while we were gone, but checked to see if we had another bottle or if we needed her to pick one up before we returned. That really impressed me! She also brought various puzzle toys of her own to keep our pups engaged and entertained. We will definitely book Victoria again in the future!

Schedule
Pet care is my full time job, and while my schedule is rather flexible and I am not able to accommodate constant care requests. I will, as always, be prioritizing the needs of all pets in my care.
