I'm an artist and currently work from home most days, but that may be changing in Nov to a hybrid option. I also have a roommate who loves animals and has been begging me to sign up for Rover. She’s had pets of her own and is beyond qualified. Also to reassure you- your pet is my responsibility and under my care. Please feel free to let me know if you feel uncomfortable with your pet meeting my roommate.

I don't have a crate or a fenced-in yard- but it’s a massive corner lot with an exterior fence. It's a huge space to roam outside! The next-door neighbors have a fenced-in yard with a very friendly dog. There is a lovely nature walking park nearby that doesn't have a lot of dogs on it. I like to keep dogs on a consistent feeding time and schedule just so they don't stress too much. I have dealt with medication administration and strict somewhat complex diets for senior dogs. Our furniture is pet-friendly and they are welcome to sleep in my room on some sort of provided bedding as my bed is kind of high off the ground. I have an office upstairs they are welcome to relax in with me as I work. I often have pets sleeping under my feet. Also to note- I've worked in nonprofit high-stress environments before and dealt with emergency calls etc. I am very calm under emergency situations.

There's an awesome walking park nearby that is often empty where there is a lot of nature to check out! I have a massive backyard to roam about. If theyre more just the chill type I have a perfect couch for just snuggling on.

Pet care experience
A few years ago I lost a sweet lab. Although I’m still not ready to get a dog, I thought dog sitting could be a great way to be around pups while my heart mends. I'm a lifelong dog lover with a wealth of experience caring for pups of all different breeds. I have a few dog families that I already house-sit for, but I wanted to broaden my dog network by giving Rover a go. I’ve also cared for senior dogs with medication and very specific diet/ care and immobility. My want is for your pet to feel calm, safe, and happy while you are away! Also obviously I love taking pictures and can send you updates throughout their stay.

We had Victoria stay with our dog over the weekend. She was great at communicating and sending updates. He had many walks during the weekend and lots of snuggles. Would definitely have Victoria stay with him again!
Victoria is exceptional! I trust her to take care of Angel and look out for both in terms of safety. She is kind and Angel and I adore her!
Super great and takes great care of Angel! I always recommend for both Angel and Victoria in the hot weather to cut walks if they are getting too hot, especially with Angels coat. 😊
