Long time dog lover
I grew up with a dog, spent many years maniacally volunteering to dog-sit for friends, acquaintances, whatever. When COVID began, I adopted a mutt, Ginger, from WAG and as she’s relaxed into a good doggo, I’ve been craving more dog company. I’d love to care for, walk, and snuggle your pup!

I was beginning to panic about finding someone to look after my dog while I was visiting my kids in Squamish and then I found Victoria! She was super friendly, very communicative, flexible and easy going to boot. My dog Loki loved staying with her. I was not sure if I would need her for all the days I was visiting as it would depend on if the activities we did were dog friendly or not. Victoria said, no worries, she could take him if I needed her, or not if I didn't. I would not hesitate to use her again and in fact, I probably will on my next visit.
Victoria and Jon were amazing!! I was just in town visiting and wanted to hike the chief but unfortunately my dog is getting a bit older and he’s not up to the challenge anymore! Victoria was super responsive and I was able to book on short notice. They were great to have as a ground crew as I was hiking solo and a bit nervous. They offered encouragement and tips, and said she’d send Jon if rescue efforts were needed 😂 (I didn’t need to be rescued, thank goodness!) She sent tons of pictures of Lou, though it was just a daycare visit I felt so comfortable and confident leaving my most cherished family member in their care ❤️ I’ll definitely be using their services next time I’m in Squamish!

Schedule
I work from home most of the week and am often home on weekends. I get out for long walks or runs each day and am happy for more dog friends to join on those!

I have one dog to keep your dog company. I’ve learned to secure food to prevent scavenging. I have a crate/multiple rooms to provide some quiet time/security if required.

A typical day
We provide active days for doggos - with twice daily walks/ runs/ hikes and play in the backyard. But there is also lots of cuddles on the couch or multiple dog beds.
