Safety, trust & environment
We used house sitters for our cat care when we go away, so as a home owner in this situation, I am very aware of taking good care of your space and ensuring everything is as you left it, including clearing up after the kitties.
Information Victoria S. would like to know about your pet
I think cat parents are super attuned to their pets, as each one is so individual and has their own unique quirks that I love hearing about! The most important things to understand is comfort with strangers, and any big likes or dislikes (certain treats, style of play, where to be pet). As cats often hide their discomfort, knowing their normal eating/drinking and litter habits when a sitter comes over is crucial to monitor their wellbeing.
A typical day
It depends on your instructions and their comfort. For all cats I will start off in a quiet, calm and submissive way to gauge their comfort. Even the most confident cat can occasionally get spooked by a movement, or even a scent. Treats are a great way to build trust with most cats, if that's part of their usual diet. I'm happy to play with them, or sit with them and talk quietly if they are more shy. Sometimes they just need a companion for a bit.

Flat fee 1-3 🐈 Experienced foster!
Pet care experience
🐱 I'm a foster and adoption lead with local cat rescue Purrfect Catpanion, so cats are my passion in and out of work. 💸 No additional cat fees! Please book 1hr visits (at least one per day) if you have 4+ cats. If your kitties have complex medical needs or requirements, we can discuss at meet and greet to understand the time needed for appropriate care. 🌟 I have experience with all sorts of cats, from reserved to outgoing (my foster fail Goose is a certified freak). I've cared for cats with complex medical needs including diabetes, lymphoma and pancreatitis, brand new strays finding their feet, and wallflowers who just needed patience and time. 📸 With 2,500 cat shots on my camera roll, you can be sure of photo and video updates from our visits. 💼 I spent 15 years in corporate client services, so your messages will always be answered. You won't be left wondering what is happening. 🛡️ I am insured through Pet Sitters Associates for your peace of mind. 🐾 Please note: I have small dogs selected in search filters to show in generic search results, but I specialize exclusively in cats. 🇬🇧 A fun fact about me: I am originally from the UK, where cats are legally granted the right to roam as 'free spirits'. Don't worry, my cats are strictly indoors.

Reviews

Victoria was great! She was always on time, she took good care of my cat, and she asked good questions to make sure my cat would get everything he needs. I would definitely book again.

Simply put, Victoria was wonderful. She was so communicative and thoughtful and took excellent care of Saff, I am so grateful for her many photos, videos, and thorough notes. Will definitely be rebooking !

Victoria was a wonderful pet sitter for our cat! From the first meet and greet to the last check-in, she was very aware and in tune with how our cat was feeling and responded to her needs accordingly!

Takes amazing care of my babies!
