I'm a midwifery lecturer so when I’m not teaching face to face I mainly work from home and I don’t work weekends. I have time in my working day and at weekends to do lots of walks however long or short your dog needs. We have a log burner in our lounge so your pooch can laze in front of the fire on cold days. We have a secure garden with plenty of space for toilet breaks. We are happy for dogs on the sofa on a blanket so rest assured they’ll get lots of cuddles with us.

I will tailor the stay for your individual dogs needs, please let me know what your dog needs and/or likes before their visit. I want their stay to feel like a home from home and I will certainly make sure they have lots of cuddles and TLC ♥️ As previously mentioned we have a baby so your furry friend needs to be happy with children. No dogs will be allowed on our bed unfortunately, so we will only be able to accept dogs who are used to sleeping in their crate or a bed downstairs.

My garden is plenty big enough for a run around or a sniff around the plants! I live a 2 minute walk from a lovely fenced field which is perfect for either on/off lead walks. I can offer plenty of toilet breaks and playtime throughout the day too ☺️

Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Vic and I live with my partner and our two children. First things first, we just LOVE dogs 😍 all shapes and sizes and so does our little girl! I'm a midwifery lecturer, my partner is a tennis coach. I work from home a lot and and we are often home/around on the weekends. We live in our own home and have a lovely secure/fairly large garden for your pooch to sniff around in. Both myself and my partner have always had dogs in our families and are experienced in caring for various breeds. I have over 10 years experience in dog sitting for family and friends. My partners family are a farming family and have always had larger dogs, mainly border collies, and more recently a re-homed Saluki crossbreed from Dubai. I've grown up with various smaller cross breed dogs. We live within a short walking distance from a secure dog walking park for walks too. We recently said goodbye to our beloved 12 year old pug, he had numerous health problems so I am also experienced in looking after dogs who have poor health. I used a dog sitter for him when he was in his younger years and loved knowing he had a home from home, with his bed in front of the log burner 🥰 (which we also have!) I have wanted to offer our services as pet sitters for a number of years, however it didn't feel fair on our dog. He's left a dog shaped hole in our lives and our hearts and whilst we aren’t ready to have another dog just yet, we have so much doggy love to give ♥️. I would love to be able to offer a home from home to your beloved furry friend whilst you have a break or go away on your holidays. I am happy to look after any friendly pooches, as long as they're ok around baby’s (1 year old). Have a look through my pics and you'll see all the dogs I’ve have had the pleasure of looking after across the years and also our garden and lounge. I am happy to have a couple of dogs from the same home at a time. Please feel free to drop me a message if you have any questions, I understand that trusting someone to look after your dog is a nerve wracking. Because we have 2 children we always do a meet and greet prior to accepting a booking, therefore I can’t accept last minute/same day bookings.

Home from home and possibly better! Vicky is so experienced and mature, would highly recommend her, she is patient, caring and understanding. Our elderly pug was not walked in the heat wave, fed well, was given sofa cuddles and so much love! Thank you Vicky x

Piggy had a lovely few days with Vicky and I think she preferred it with her rather than me! :) Vicky sent photos and updates which was lovely. Highly recommend Vicky for gentle, friendly dogs that love children x

We met Victoria for a meet and greet before booking Piggy in for a half day stay. Victoria has a lovely warm home with an enclosed garden. We had a good conversation about Piggy and her personality, as Piggy is an older dog and has poor eyesight and does not need very long walks. Victoria has experience especially with older pugs so we felt very secure in booking Victoria. She is extremely trustworthy, mature and professional and I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Our boys were really happy and settled. Vic sent us lovely updates to help us feel at ease. A real home from home for our spoilt chihuahuas. Thank you so much for providing excellent care and piece of mind so we could enjoy our break away. We will definitely be booking them in again for our next holiday.
