We are lucky enough to provide a large fenced-in and secure garden, this garden does have a gate leading to the front of the house, however, we only use this to take the bins out and it is lockable from the inside. This gate will always be locked unless in use, in which case, all dogs will be in the house until it is safe. Our daughter's room is baby gated just stop our very own Mikey from helping himself to her toys and blankets, other than that they have free roam of the bungalow we live in. The kitchen and bathroom are lino and the rest is carpeted, we are happy to provide blankets and we are happy for dogs to go onto the furniture to rest.

The questions that I ask anyone who messages will vary depending on the breeds and ages of the dogs in question. Please message me and we'll see what we can do.

A typical day

A typical day with our dogs includes them waiting patiently for our little girl to finish her breakfast so we can go into the garden for a play, we will throw the ball or play tug of war with Mikey, whilst Benny basks in the sun or sits on our patio furniture having a nap. Our afternoon will consist of walking down to the local park to look at the ducks and play with Millicent on the swings, followed by a slow walk back up to the house for a treat and a nap. Once we awake from our afternoon snooze we will have our dinner and all squish up on the sofa to enjoy a film as a family.

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Victoria and you may know me from when this website used to be DogBuddy! I am the owner of Pets Pantry Boarding and Doggy Day Care. I am an Animal Care studies graduate having studied Animal Care Level 1 and 2, and Animal Management Level 3. I have an excellent understanding of how to care for different dogs and have worked with all kinds of doggo - Old, young, big, and small. I am a stay-at-home mum to two little humans called Millicent and Kit, who both love dogs and are very confident around them, however, we, for obvious reasons, will only accept dogs that are friendly towards little ones. They will always be under constant supervision and if your dog begins to show any signs of stress, kids will be removed from the situation. You will have the reassurance of knowing that your dog is in my care 24/7 and the added bonus that my husband, James, also works from home and can assist in playing with your good boy/girl in our gated and secure garden and going on walks down to our local park to play fetch. Dogs we have owned/cared for: Leonberger, Shih Tzu, Sprocker Spaniel, Rottweiler, Weimaraner, Labrador, Beagle, Basset Hound, Westie, Lurcher, Boarder Collie, Bull Terrier, Staffy, Cockapoo, Lhasa Apso, Boston Terrier. We have also cared for dogs with food allergies and dogs that require medication, we are both comfortable with administering medication and looking after complex needs. If you are in need of a companion for your doggo whilst you jet off on holiday or otherwise, please don't hesitate to send me a message! The calendar is always kept up to date, but if you have a query - ask away!

Victoria looked after my dog, Bonnie for 9 days whilst I went on holiday. It was the first time I had left Bonnie with a dog sitter and I was very nervous about it. Victoria was brilliant. I met her before with my dog and spend some time with her and her dogs at her home. During Bonnie's holiday at Victoria's, Victoria sent constant pictures and updates which really put my mind at ease and also brought a smile to my face on more than one occasion just seeing Bonnie so at home. I would definitely use Victoria's services again as I felt she was loved and cared for.

Victoria, supported by her mother, did a good job of looking after our Westie. Nalak had not been socialised and we were worried about how she would cope with two dogs and a cat. However, although we had taught Nalak that dogs chase cats, Nalak has returned home completely socialised and had miraculously recovered from an allergy rash she has had for ages. Victoria is a long way from us but at shorter notice than we had planned was able to take the booking. If we are unable to locate a closer carer in the future, we would have no hesitation in asking for Victoria's availability again.

Thank you for helping us out at very short notice. When Boris came home he snored and snored. I think he was dreaming about your guinea pigs. Always a good sign that he is happy and tired. He thoroughly enjoyed himself with you and yours.
