Hi, I’m Victoria! I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and have cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities. My first pup was a fun-loving Maltese, and now my fiancée and I have the sweetest 10-year-old golden retriever who is incredibly patient and friendly. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs—playing, walking, cuddling, and making sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pup, and I promise to treat them like family! Whether they need extra belly rubs, long walks, or just a cozy place to relax, I’ll make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. I’m experienced in handling different energy levels and personalities, so whether your dog is playful or prefers quiet companionship, I’ll tailor our care to their needs! I was so happy with Pixie staying at Victoria and Melody's home, I received pictures daily of her with the other doggies and going on walks. Pixie usually is not very comfortable among other dogs but she got on so well with them and was very calm and relaxed. The hosts also loved my Pixie and gave her a lot of cuddles. I would definitely love to book Pixie with them again.
We always feel so comfortable when Maple is at Victoria and Melody’s house - we know she’s having so much fun and that they’re providing her lots of love :) thank you!
Victoria and Melody did such a great job watching Juneau! He loved playing with Mordecai and especially loved all the toys they had at their house. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask them to watch Juneau again the next time I’m out of town.
As always, we love having Maple stay with Victoria, Melody, and Mordecai! Victoria and Melody are so communicative and flexible, which we really appreciate. Maple always has her tail wagging when we pull up for daycare. A huge thank you to Mordecai for always sharing his toys/bed with her!
Victoria and Melody communicated well and I felt my boy was in a trustworthy and safe home. The only glitch was, they don’t have a dog bed for their guests. Only the floor and blanket. So, if you want your dog to have a bed while staying here just be sure to bring one from home. Otherwise all was good.
Victoria and Melody were very friendly, communicative, and took great care of our dog!

Schedule
My partner and I work 4-5 days of the week. Between the 2 our schedules, we are available to care for your pup all week since we have different days off! 😊

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
We live in a home and have a fenced yard. It’s a small backyard with no grass but it works and we find ways to still have playtime back there when weather permits! We are comfortable with crates if your dog is crate trained. And we will make sure they feel safe with all their own things. Our golden retriever has anxiety and has had trust issues with other dogs if he feels scared of them. He has been boarded with sitters and other dogs before (he also has many dog cousins), it just takes him an hour to warm up. We will always make sure the introduction and adjustment period is as smooth as it can be. Our dog has a corner in our room he feels the safest and he goes there on his own when he feels overwhelmed. We know how to read his emotions and we know we can balance your dogs emotions too!

A typical day
Our house is pretty chill, we go on a brief morning walk and enjoy the sun. We sometimes play fetch in the backyard or tug of war in the house. Some days we enjoy a walk at a local park! We are not a high energy house and if that is your pup, we might not be the best fit.
