I’m a teacher who’s about to start summer break, which means I’ll have lots of free time and flexibility in my schedule. Pet care fits in perfectly—I’m home during the day and can give your dog lots of attention, playtime, and walks. Whether it’s for a quick drop-in or longer stay, I’ll be available and focused on giving your pet the care they deserve.

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I stick to their usual routines as closely as possible—feeding times, walks, playtime, and rest—so they feel at ease. I always give lots of attention, cuddles (if they like them!), and make sure they have plenty of enrichment and calm time too. In your home, I’ll treat your space with respect and keep things clean and tidy. In my home, your pet will have a cozy, relaxed environment where they’re treated like part of the family. We live on a quiet, peaceful street—perfect for dogs who enjoy calm surroundings. There are also beautiful walking trails all around our neighborhood that dogs absolutely love, and Elgin Park is right across the street—great for outdoor time, sniffing adventures, and extra exercise!

To give each dog the best care possible, I like to know a few key things ahead of time. It really helps to learn about their daily routine, energy level, and any quirks they might have—like if they’re nervous around other dogs, scared of loud noises, or have favorite toys or comfort items. I also like to know if they have any medical needs, allergies, or specific feeding instructions. Knowing their usual walk schedule, potty habits, and how they behave when left alone helps me keep things as normal and stress-free as possible. The more I know, the better I can make them feel right at home!
A typical day
I love spending time with pets and making sure they feel happy and comfortable while they’re with me. We have a beautiful park right across the street that’s perfect for walks, exploring, and fresh air. I also have a backyard where dogs can safely play, run around, or just relax in the sun. Whether it’s a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or simply lots of cuddles and attention, I make sure each pet gets the love and care they deserve based on their energy and personality.

I’ve loved animals my whole life and have been around pets since childhood. My fiancé and I have spent lots of time caring for dogs—our own pets and also babysitting our family dogs. We’re huge dog lovers and plan to get one of our own soon, so we’re always excited to spend time with them! Every dog we care for gets treated like part of the family—lots of attention, playtime, and love. We’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away.

Our pup Moose had the absolute BEST time with Victoria & Matt! They gave him so much love and were super consistent with updates throughout his visit. Such a spoiled boy who I'm sure is counting down the days until he can go back for another sleepover!
Victoria and Matthew supported our 3 dogs throughout the summer to provide them with a visit, socialization and bathroom/water breaks during the day throughout the week while my husband and I were both at work. I am so thankful for this! Report cards were provided each day and any important information was communicated with me. I felt an incredible amount of peace of mind knowing my 3 dogs were safe and cared for during the day while we were away. Highly recommend!
Victoria and Matt have been wonderful with Callie. They are phenomenal dog sitters and we will continue to use them. Callie’s days were filled with snuggles, adventures, and many activities.
