I work from home and hav time and capacity to care for dogs at home and/or do walks on weekdays and the occasional weekend. I live with my wife and our 4 year old and in the future we hope to welcome a dog into the family, so it would be really fantastic to support dog owners whilst getting to know some different breeds before we make this big, exciting commitment. I can care for dogs at home who wouldn't mind hanging out in the home office and are good with young children. However, I am flexible to walk any type of dog because it would just be myself on the walks. This way I can give a dog what they need and individual attention and care. Working at home I would love some canine company!

Safety, trust & environment

When looking after pets in the home they always have their own space available where our son is not allowed to go to, so they always have a calm/private space away from the family. They're also welcome to be part of the family if the prefer and we love to play/cuddle/chill out with whichever dog is in our care. Essentially it's dog-led and I respect that, especially when the dogs don't know me well yet. On the walks I'll always keep dogs on lead unless explicitly discussed otherwise and can do whatever type of walks are better for the individual dogs - woods, long, short, beach, just round the block.

Information Victoria M. would like to know about your pet

Just let me know if there's anything specific they like/don't like. If it's for a walk and they're not sure about kids then let me know and I'll make sure my 4 year old doesn't come along. Any health issues or requirements, anything to make them feel comfortable.

A typical day

Each dog is different, but if it's a higher energy dog then I'd do a sniffy walk, explore the local park and play games at home. If they prefer to laze around and chill out then that's fine by me too! It'll generally be dog-led.

Pet care experience

I've been walking/caring for dogs of friends and family for some time now. I love having dogs in the house and going for walks. I treat any dog in my care as if it were my own. Don't hesitate to get in touch and let me know if you have other things you'd like to know about me 😀

Really communicative and very flexible when we had a last minute emergency. Most importantly Maggie had a lovely time on the walk!

Can’t recommend Victoria & family enough. We were visiting the area for a couple of nights & needed dog care for one of the days so we could explore without worrying about leaving Noodle alone all day. Victoria looked after Noodle very well, kept us updated & looks like he had a great time. Thank you ☺️
