Hi, I’m Victoria, the heart behind FurGo! All my life, I’ve been surrounded by animals growing up with them, caring for them, and forming deep bonds that shaped who I am. That lifelong love naturally led me to pursue a career in animal care, and I went on to qualify as an Animal Welfare Officer. People often say, “Find what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.” That’s exactly how I feel. Looking after animals isn’t a job to me it’s my passion, and I carry it with my whole heart. I’m a qualified Animal Welfare Officer with hands-on experience in pet sitting, animal transport, and one-on-one care. I’m also currently studying Wildlife Rehabilitation to deepen my understanding of animal behaviour and well-being. What truly sets me apart is my calm, gentle, and intuitive approach—especially with senior pets. I’ve spent the last 15 years caring for my own beloved Yorkie, Ritchie, who’s now a senior with special needs. This has given me an exceptional level of patience, softness, and experience in supporting elderly dogs with dignity, comfort, and love. I have a natural connection with animals most pets seem to sense it right away. Even nervous or shy animals quickly relax around me, and I adapt to their pace, personality, and needs with genuine care. I’m fully insured and hold a clean DBS check for peace of mind. With FurGo, your pet is not just looked after they’re understood, respected, and cared for like family. Pet care is my full time focus and the heart of my daily routine. I’ve built my schedule entirely around FurGo, so I’m available and flexible to meet your pet’s needs whether it’s daytime sitting, drop-ins, walks, or extended care. My priority is always the pet’s comfort, safety, and emotional well-being. Whenever possible, I prefer to care for pets in their own home it’s the environment they know and feel safest in. Staying in a familiar space helps reduce stress, especially for seniors or more sensitive pets, and allows them to keep their usual routine. That said, I’m flexible and always happy to work around what suits the owners best. Whether I’m caring for a pet in your home or mine, I bring the same calm, attentive, and respectful approach to make sure your pet feels secure, understood, and loved.

A typical day
We start with cuddles (if they want!), walks and playtime, followed by food, care, quiet company, and keeping their routine so they feel secure and loved.

The more I know, the better I can tailor my care and keep your pet calm, loved, and comfortable.
