Information Victoria H. would like to know about your pet

Please tell us about your dog's personality, routine and any additional needs before their stay. This includes any medical conditions, medication, dietary requirements, behavioural quirks or anything that helps them feel comfortable. The more we know, the better we can tailor their stay and make them feel right at home.

A typical day

Every day starts with a morning walk, giving everyone the chance to stretch their legs, have a good sniff and burn off a little energy before heading home for breakfast. The rest of the day is exactly how most pugs like to spend it... snoozing in a comfy spot, following us from room to room, enjoying the garden, playing with toys, soaking up tummy rubs and, of course, keeping an eye out for the occasional carrot snack! We regularly head out into our large, secure garden throughout the day, where all dogs are supervised while they explore, play or simply enjoy lounging in the sunshine. Weather permitting, we'll often head out for a second walk in the evening too, although every walk is tailored to your dog's age, health and individual needs. Above all, we keep things relaxed and homely. Your dog won't be spending the day in kennels or playrooms, they'll simply become part of our family routine, enjoying all the comforts of home while you're away.

Pet care experience

Hi, I'm Victoria, the owner of The Pug House in beautiful Malvern, Worcestershire. I've spent over 12 years owning and caring for pugs and understand that they're much more than just pets, they're family. That's why I created the kind of place we'd happily leave my own dogs. Our home offers a calm, loving environment where dogs become part of the family. Guests have free run of the house, a large secure garden to explore, plenty of cosy places to snooze, and lots of companionship throughout the day. We only welcome a small number of dogs at a time, ensuring every guest receives the love, attention and personalised care they deserve. While pugs are our speciality, we're also happy to welcome other small breeds where they're a good fit, particularly if they're the sibling of one of our pug guests. I'm DBS checked, committed to providing the highest standard of care, and am completing a Canine First Aid Level 2 (VTQ) qualification. Regular photo updates come as standard, so you can relax knowing your best friend is having a wonderful holiday of their own. We can't wait to welcome you to The Pug House.

Pickle had the best two weeks at The Pug House! It was so reassuring knowing he was in such caring hands with Vicki and Dave, having so much fun with all his pug pals. He came home happy, tired, and clearly very well looked after. Thank you, we’ll definitely be back!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our little Betty to stay! She spent a week at The Pug House with Victoria and her lovely doggos, and it was clear she had the best time. Betty was so well looked after, loved, and treated like one of the family. We received updates throughout her stay, which gave us complete peace of mind. She came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had made lots of new furry friends. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Pug House to anyone looking for a caring, safe, and fun home-from-home for their dog. Thank you, Victoria, for taking such wonderful care of our little Betty – we’ll definitely be back!
