The Pug House
Hi, I’m Victoria! I’m the owner of The Pug House, a home boarding service in beautiful Malvern, Worcestershire. I’ve spent over 12 years owning and caring for pugs, so I know that leaving your dog with someone else can feel like a big deal. They’re family, after all! I created The Pug House to be the kind of place I’d feel completely happy leaving my own dogs, with a calm, loving home environment and plenty of company throughout the day. A little about me: • I have over 12 years’ experience owning and caring for pugs • Dogs are welcomed as part of the family, with free run of our home • Large, secure garden for exploring, sniffing and relaxing • Small number of guests so every dog gets plenty of individual attention • Regular photo updates, so you can see what your pup is getting up to • DBS checked and Canine First Aid Level 2 (VTQ) • Located at the foot of the beautiful Malvern Hills Pugs are our speciality, but we’re also happy to consider other small breeds, and can look after up to 2 dogs from the same household. Most importantly, I want every dog staying with us to feel safe, relaxed and completely at home. There’ll be walks, garden time, toys, tummy rubs, sofa snoozes and probably the occasional carrot or two! We have 2 resident pugs here, plus 2 kittens (who are totally used to their flat faced housemates) ready to welcome dogs of all ages. I’d love to meet you and your dog before their first stay, so we can get to know each other and make sure The Pug House is the perfect fit. 🐾

Ratings and reviews
Pickle had the best two weeks at The Pug House! It was so reassuring knowing he was in such caring hands with Vicki and Dave, having so much fun with all his pug pals. He came home happy, tired, and clearly very well looked after. Thank you, we’ll definitely be back!
We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our little Betty to stay! She spent a week at The Pug House with Victoria and her lovely doggos, and it was clear she had the best time. Betty was so well looked after, loved, and treated like one of the family. We received updates throughout her stay, which gave us complete peace of mind. She came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had made lots of new furry friends. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Pug House to anyone looking for a caring, safe, and fun home-from-home for their dog. Thank you, Victoria, for taking such wonderful care of our little Betty – we’ll definitely be back!

Schedule
Caring for dogs fits naturally into our daily routine. I work from home full-time, while my husband works from home part time, so there's plenty of company throughout the day and very little time spent alone. We welcome boarding throughout the week and at weekends, with flexible drop-off and collection by arrangement. Your dog will be treated as part of our family, joining us for walks, playtime, sofa cuddles and plenty of naps in between.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Your dog's safety and happiness are our top priorities. We have a fully enclosed, large secure garden and a relaxed home environment where dogs are free to enjoy every room alongside us, just as they would at home. We have over 12 years' experience owning and caring for pugs and understand the breed's unique needs, including breathing, wrinkle care and keeping cool in warmer weather. I'm DBS checked, and completed a Canine First Aid Level 2 (VTQ) qualification. We only accept a small number of dogs at a time, allowing us to provide plenty of individual attention and a calm, personalised experience.

A typical day
Every day starts with a morning walk, giving everyone the chance to stretch their legs, have a good sniff and burn off a little energy before heading home for breakfast. The rest of the day is exactly how most dogs like to spend it... snoozing in a comfy spot, following us from room to room, enjoying the garden, playing with toys, soaking up tummy rubs and, of course, keeping an eye out for the occasional carrot snack! We regularly head out into our large, secure garden throughout the day, where all dogs are supervised while they explore, play or simply enjoy lounging in the sunshine. Weather permitting, we'll often head out for a second walk in the evening too, although every walk is tailored to your dog's age, health and individual needs. Above all, we keep things relaxed and homely. Your dog won't be spending the day in kennels or playrooms, they'll simply become part of our family routine, enjoying all the comforts of home while you're away.
