I have one year of experience with volunteer work at a cat shelter. I have had pet cats and dogs my whole life. Currently have a 17 year old Pomeranian, Chewbacca. I love to walk dogs and play with them. I am good at reading cat and dog body language and know how to go at their pace and comfort level. I have a cat named Rumis who is 2 years old. I also work as a RN part-time. I would love to take good care of your animals on my days off. I am passionate about animals and would be honored to care for your pets.

A typical day

For dog walks, I like to let them take their time and sniff around a lot if they would like to. I can play fetch with them and give them lots of attention and love. For cats, I can play with them. Most cats like string type toys so I would utilize that for play. Also, many cats enjoy the laser toy.

I would love to know about if your pet has any special needs or behaviors ahead of time so that I am prepared to work with that prior to my arrival. If they have any medications that I need to give, I would love to know more. Printing out a sheet for me about instructions works great!
