Pet care experience

Pet sitter for all animal types

Animals have always been one of my greatest passions and being able to work with them is a dream come true. I personally have owned and taken care of dogs, tropical and freshwater fish, small pets, and cats. I’ve also spent time volunteering at animal shelters and have experience in house-sitting and pet-sitting locally.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

I have a couple of my own pets so I’d rather not keep other pets at my place for extended periods of time (unless they’re fully up to date on vaccines, shots, and behavioral training), but I’m happy to assist in anyway I can at your house. I can do basic cleaning and of course pet care such as walking, watering, feeding, taking outside, playing, etc.. I can lock the house and leave the key in a predetermined location if needed. I’m happy to follow any house rules, special instructions, and anything extra needed for the pets, including medications or continuing ongoing training.

Schedule

I’m currently enrolled in evening cosmetology classes 5-10pm Mon-Thurs and work Saturday mornings 8-3. Otherwise I’m mostly a homebody who enjoys spending time with my pets and outside.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Victoria can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
Any medical or behavioral things that may impact the mode of care, for instance non-potty trained means I’ll do my best to keep them off/out of carpeted areas and take them outside more frequently. Medical situations where I may need to administer medication or have vet info readily available (I ask for vet info nonetheless in case of unforeseen emergency). Recently a dog I watched could exit the screen door but not re-enter without assistance so I helped to train her to come back in on her own. I’m down for just about any kind of potentially complicated care, so long as everything is explained clearly with resources available if needed.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
