Information Victoria G. would like to know about your pet

I like to know the dogs likes and dislikes, as well as the owners preferences for things like food, training, exercise, furniture privileges etc. Obviously any medical or behavioural issues.

A typical day

I can either take dogs on walks around the estate on which I live. It's very quiet - we won't meet many other people or dogs. Or I can take them over the road to Smithwood Common. Alternatively we can jump in the car and go for walks in the Hurtwood. We can also play ball (or whatever game is favoured) in the garden, continue with training, anything the dog likes!

Pet care experience

I have had 18 dogs - many of them fosters who have gone into forever homes. I also volunteered for a rescue for many years, walking and caring for the dogs. I have flexible work so can care for pets around that includes weekdays and weekends, daytime or evenings. I just fit everything around my other work. I have two dogs of my own to help yours feel welcome. I have a large fenced garden and live on a quiet estate with lovely quiet walks on the doorstep.

Could not recommend Vicky more. I was quite anxious leaving Raffles as we don’t leave him very much, but she completely put me at ease, sent lots of updates and pictures, and it looked like he had a great time and was looked after fabulously by Vicky.

Katie is quite a sensitive little dog and I was a bit worried about leaving her with someone new. However, Victoria took her in calmly and messaged me to let me know she had settled well, had treats and cuddles and was exploring the garden. We look forward to more visits in the future!

I highly recommend Vicky. She has many years of dog care experience, and I've been witness to her managing all sorts of different dogs in a calm, sensible manner and with the utmost care for their welfare. Her love for dogs knows no bounds. She's fostered many many dogs for several rescues, and on occasion has looked after my own foster dogs in her home for a day or two. Her home is a very calm, quiet space and a haven for dogs. If the dogs want fun, they will get plenty, or if they want quiet they will get that too. Just be warned that your dogs may not want to leave 🙂

Vicky has been a dog owner for as long as I have known her, as well as a dog fosterer and a committed volunteer at a number of dog rescue shelters. It's fair to say she's an animal lover! She also incredibly reliable and a great problem solver - she's definitely someone I'd go to in a crisis. She prides herself on being punctual, is always friendly and is a very neat and tidy person. She has house- and cat-sat for me countless times, and has always left my place immaculate and my cat content. I would thoroughly recommend her :)
