I am dedicated, adaptable, and love to learn. I'm also deeply empathetic, compassionate, and intuitive; I'm skilled in reading animals' energies and they are often drawn to mine. I'm the type of person who you can find sitting on the floor with the cat or dog during social gatherings. I have provided care for dogs, cats, fish, and am open to learning about other pets. I grew up with dogs and adopted two cats in 2022. I have been providing pet care on Rover since October 2024. I have experience administering medication to both dogs and cats though I do not consider myself an expert. I'm more comfortable with kittens/puppies and adult cats and dogs, though I do have experience with seniors of both species. I've worked with animals of all sizes, from <5lbs to 115lbs. I am also certified by the American Red Cross in Cat and Dog First Aid.

Safety, trust & environment
I start with two rules: #1 is to follow the pet parents' wishes and #2 is to ask questions and clarify anything I'm unclear on. Beyond that, there is no one size fits all approach, so I just care intuitively and treat each pet as if they were my own. I "read the room" and match the pet's energy accordingly to make sure they feel comfortable and build trust with them. Like how people say to talk to your plants, I love talking to animals as if we spoke the same language and have found that to have a calming effect. While it's important to assert oneself as the alpha, I strongly believe it must be done in a way that still shows the pet that you respect them and know that you're the one entering their space. Animals are very sensitive to the vibes humans emit, and I truly believe they can tell when a person does this.

This is my 3rd or 4th time re-booking with Victoria. She’s great as always! I feel more comfortable leaving my 2 cats for the weekend knowing she’s checking in on them.
Tori loves my cat as if he was her own. She always leaves great videos and gives great care to my fur baby.
This is our 2nd time using Victoria. The 1st time was just for a few hours, and this time was for 3 days at our home. I’m thankful for Victoria because Farrah has some separation issues and Farrah seems to be very comfortable with her. We got pictures and updates every day, which was nice because we were able to enjoy our trip knowing Farrah was in great hands. Victoria was very respectful of our home and is always so kind and accommodating.
Consistently wonderful and attentive care for my cat and home. I continue to highly recommend Victoria with zero reservations.

Schedule
My schedule is currently flexible as I am pursuing pet care as my full time job. I am presently able to provide walks, daytime sitting, and overnight sitting.

I have OCD so I understand things needing to be a certain way and am more than happy to accommodate.
