Availability
I am now a pet sitter full-time! I am home most of the day unless I am out checking on dogs/cats or making a grocery run. If I am on a house sitting for you, please note I cannot stay at your place 24/7. Boardings, and doggy daycare require a meet and greet at my place to make sure all get along.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard with 3 doggies to help keep company & help with play time. Will crate if preferred or best while away. Please let me know if your pets have a history of chewing furniture, counter-surfing, or need to be separated while eating, etc. ***2 of my dogs are quite older and really all 3 do better with more mellow dogs that enjoy playtime on occasion. All depends on personalities meshing while here.

Pet care experience
I started working with dogs at 16 years old at a greyhound kennel for about 3 years. Had my first dog while growing up, and multiple outdoor kitties as a child. I have a kitty—Ritzy (15 yrs old), and a few years later became a foster dog failure (winner) and adopted my Moriah (13 yrs old) from the SPCA of Texas. As of Sept 2020, I foster failed again! ha! So now have Tess (10 years old) also from the SPCA. Jan 2024 adopted another foster dog from Oklahoma! Aspen! (4 years old) ***While in Texas, I was a volunteer with the SPCA of Texas from 8/2017-8/2019 and had their training in animal handling, and adoption counseling. I accumulated 700+ hours in volunteer time at the shelter and fostering with them. I loved it there, and was around many rescue dogs from bad situations. Positive reinforcement, patience, and empathy is so important in rescue and these are some of my strengths when it comes to working with fearful dogs especially. I fostered many dogs when I could even if its was just for the weekend. Some I had a couple of months until we found the right home. Giving them time in a home is so rewarding, even if they are nervous or insecure of their new surroundings they get to experience a “home”, for maybe the first time ever! New Mexico. 2019-2021--fostered dogs w/Albuquerque Animal Welfare, and privately for transport dogs from Mexico to rescue groups in Utah/Colorado. I was a Feral Friends volunteer from 4/2017-7/2019 and helped with cleaning the cat condos at Petco in Plano TX. I got my kitty cuddles in, since my cat does not like them lol. Have experience with feral cats and had some good outcomes with TNR. Have at least 10+ years with just animal volunteer experience! Oklahoma-- 2021-2025, became very involved in animal rescue. Fostered close to 20 dogs with “Texoma Paw Patrol”, and even transported dogs to rescue in Minnesota, Missouri, and Kansas. Animal welfare is one of my greatest passions!! Have fostered nearly 50 animals over the years. I've seen the good, sad, and bad side while in animal rescue. Will look forward to helping more animals while back in Placitas, NM as of July 2025. Here with me or at their home, we go off your pet's routine in care. Please note ** if house sitting I cannot stay at your home all day, as I need to come check on my own dogs as well. * I have additional bookings for check-ins, doggy daycare, dog walks, etc. **please also note, my usual routine for overnight/house sittings include a 12-14 overnight stay that will include an additional drop in. If your pet needs an extra visit outside of that, a price increase may be added.
Reviews
Conscientious, arrives on time, sends pics of dog, communicates very well. My dog never barked at her when she first met him, which is unusual for him. I would highly recommend Victoria.

Victoria is the definition of "above and beyond." And my insecure cat Rufous loves her. Thank you!

We were a bit anxious about leaving Ro-Z for the first time ever but Victoria was great with her and she did fine. Would use her services again.

She did great! No issues, and very communicative
