I am currently working part time at a local brewery and looking to fill my days off with some dog walks or drop in visits. I am also available to do overnight pet-sitting or be an extra set of hands to help out those bringing their pets on vacation.

My aim for animal care is to create a feeling of companionship for both myself and the pets. I'm an active person and enjoy high energy pets who love a lot of walking and playtime. As someone who has always had a deep reverence for animals I also have a particular soft spot for shy pets and earning an animal's trust through patience and respect of their boundaries.

I would like to know your dog's general history especially if there was a previous owner to ensure I avoid any triggers or behaviors that could put them on edge. Let me know how your dog reacts to other pets, new people, or being walked in new places. Please tell me if they've had any leash training so I can follow any protocols that they are used to.
A typical day
I love walking and hiking and being anywhere outdoors and having a dog along to enjoy the adventure makes it so much better. I'm familiar with a lot of the local trails and parks across the county if your dog likes a wander in the woods or an afternoon on the beach. I also love working on tricks with dogs so let me know if yours is trying to learn anything!

Pet care experience
I've been a pet-owner, pet-sitter, dog aunty, shelter volunteer, and all-round animal aficionado my entire life. I grew up in Houston where I have always been the family pet-carer when anyone goes out of town. This is my 4th year living in Door County where I've been volunteering weekly at the animal shelter and spending my summers taking all my friends' dogs hiking and camping.

Victoria took fantastic care of our animals!! She sent beautiful pictures ever day! They loved her and she loved them! Our return flight had a problem, so we asked her to come back to let the dog out at 10:00 pm and she was happy to do it!
Victoria was awesome to work with and went over and above to provide great care for our senior kitty while we were on vacation.
Victoria was great for dropping in on my 3 cats while we were away for a long weekend. She was able to accommodate short notice, and sent lots of pictures. Even my shy cat didn't hide when she stopped over. Will use her again in the future.
