Pet care experience

Pet lover with a flexible schedule

I've always loved dogs. I have had Yorkshire Terriers growing up but have 7 years experience with my partners family dogs, (2 pit bulls and a Chihuahua), so am very comfortable with large dogs. I owned a German Shepherd Siberian Husky mix for a few years and loved every second with her. I went through training with her as well. I love dogs, I love walking and giving them the best time while their favorite human is away. My parents Yorkshire Terrier also deals with back problems, so am fully capable of following any strict instructions you may have for your sweet pup.

We were very happy that Victoria and her partner were able to watch Shasta for a few days while we traveled. Victoria was communicative, asking about a few care items for which she was unsure, and responding quickly to our messages. She also provided regular updates on how Shasta was doing. We would not hesitate to leave Shasta with her again.

Victoria boarded our dog, Ruby, over the weekend and I couldn’t recommend her more. She read over our dog’s schedule and tips and asked lots of clarifying questions to make sure Ruby was well cared for. Over the weekend she sent lots of pictures and updates. I know we all hate to leave our dogs while we go out of town, but Victoria makes it a worry-free experience. Victoria treats your dog like her own!

During the day: -Ensure your dog has access to water and a comfortable space to rest. -Arrange for a midday walk or potty break if you'll be gone for an extended period. -Play with toys or relax, whatever the fur baby wants. Afternoon: -Take dog outside for another bathroom break. -Spend quality time with your dog, whether it's playing, training, or simply cuddling. Evening: -Take your dog for another walk or play session to tire them out before bedtime. -Feed your dog dinner and provide fresh water. -Engage in some relaxation time together, such as grooming or watching TV. -Before bed, take your dog outside for a final bathroom break. -Settle your dog into their sleeping area with their favorite blanket or bed. * Throughout the day, be sure to monitor your dog's behavior and health for any signs of discomfort or illness. *And of course, shower them with love and affection—it's one of the most important parts of taking care of a furry friend!
