I have had the pleasure of caring for both cats and dogs for many years now. My confidence in providing love and support for animals of all ages, sizes, breeds, and energy levels is born from my adaptability. I’m more than happy to abide by any preferences or rules you have for your animal, no questions asked. You know what they need—I am here to help you take care of them. 🐾💙 (I have a medical biology degree so I will have no problem administering medications and/or therapy. I also have First Aid Training for Dogs & Cats so I know exactly what to do in case of an emergency.)

My goal is to make sure all animals under my care are unconditionally safe, happy, and loved. If that means crating them, keeping my distance, or not petting/touching them, that’s not a problem. Alternatively, I’m more than happy to shower them with affection if that’s what they like! I am well-versed in animal behaviours and am very good at spotting both relaxed and stressed signs. I am particularly good at this with cats.

Victoria was awesome! Super easy to communicate with and she took great care of my mini dachshund puppy who can definitely be a handful! It was my first time using rover and she was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and sent me pictures and updates while she was house sitting. 11/10 would recommend and we will definitely be booking her again anytime she is available!

Very pleased with the care Victoria provided to my three cats while housesitting. She stepped in to housesit for my three cats just a couple weeks before we were to leave. The cats are on a somewhat complicated diet, with each one getting a different mix of dry and canned food three times a day, but she managed to get each cat fed appropriately. One of the cats is a nervous recent adoptee, but she was able to coax Shawnee to eat as of the first meal window, and win her over further with some play time later in the day. She also managed the gate that we're currently using to keep the cats separate, and the catio access for Mac and Gus. I received daily reports listing all key facts and some lovely photos. I was nervous about leaving but quickly felt at ease. I arrived home to three happy cats and a house in good order.
5 stars isn’t enough for how great Victoria is. Victoria was amazing with our dog and 2 cats. Specifically our one cat who is very selective with people and has historically had behavioural issues when people have stayed over. Victoria was able to win him over and he warmed up to her in his own unique way. She kept us updated on how all the animals were doing. We plan on using her services again in the future and would recommend her to anyone we know looking.
Victoria has been extraordinary in taking care of our two cats while we were out of the country for an extended period of time. We really appreciate her commitment and attention to detail. She has also been incredibly flexible and accommodating when an emergency situation came up, and we are so grateful she was there to help. We will definitely book with her again!

Schedule
I am currently available full time for Rover bookings, throughout the week or weekend, day or night. This means I can be scheduled from 9am to 11pm, Monday to Sunday. I do not offer certain services (walks & drop-ins) before 9am or after 11pm. House-sittings are an exception to this timing rule, which can be discussed on an individual basis as needed. I’m happy to do anything from popping in to see your animals while you’re at work to taking over as their primary caregiver while you are away for an extended period. I am very flexible and can schedule returning visits or last minute check-ups if I am available. For house-sittings, I will spend overnights and the majority of the day in your home with your animals around other Rover bookings or short (3-5hr) shifts at my part-time job. IMPORTANT FOR HOUSE-SITTINGS ONLY: If your pup requires more than 1 hour of walking a day, a $25/day surcharge will apply per additional 1/2 hour.
