Both Sam and I have grown up with dogs and have dog sat pets together before taking the plunge and adopting our gorgeous rescue dog Nellie last year! We absolutely love dogs and think they enrich life in every way and so thought why not fill our week looking after more furry friends! Nellie is very good with other dogs coming into the home so we didn’t think this to be a problem. We regularly look after our friends frenchie Hank and the dogs are best pals. Although our favourite thing is cuddles on the sofa and a good walk around hilly fields with the dogs, we also appreciate that all dogs have different ways of meeting new people and other dogs, and we feel we are good at reading a dogs body language for when they’ve had enough or need some space. Having adjusted a once very nervous new rescue into our lives who had her challenges we have the skills for slightly more challenging dogs as well!
