My schedule is wide open for the summer. As a teacher on summer break, I have lots and LOTS of time to give to you and your fur babies! I have no issue with 'aggressive" breeds and I am open to taking on dogs that are more reactive!

Safety, trust & environment
During previous summers, I worked at a dog daycare, Dogtopia. There I was trained to notice signs of anxiety, discomfort, and appropriate playful behavior between dogs. The knowledge I gained while working there has shaped how I interact with any and all dogs. I think many people struggle with giving dogs space because they're just so cute. I pride myself in enjoying the peaceful co-existence that sometimes means more to an animal than showering them with love because it shows that you resect their space.
Information Victoria B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about anything that is unique to your dog. Do they need a blanket to really settle? Do they need a little water in their food to soften it? I believe each dog is unique and has subtle preferences that can help ease them while their favorite people are away.
A typical day
Each dog has their own routine. For some, they want a long walk to tire out before resting for the day. Personally, my dog likes to sunbathe for a bit before she cools off back inside. I can provide enriching activities through hide and seek, a personal favorite of my own dog, treat hiding and seeking, and general play time. For older dogs, scaling playtime to their energy level is simple. I can also just provide a body for them to feel safe near.

Pet care experience
I started taking care of pets when I got my first dog, a beagle named Princess at the age of 5. Throughout high school, my family fostered 2 sets of dogs. The first was a sweet pitbull mix, Patches, that just needed a medical foster. then during my senior year, we fostered Chiquita and her 5 babies. Those puppies were hard work, but it was so rewarding watching them grow from those 2 week old bundles of fur to the puppies with spunky personality that they became. I've only gone a short time without a fur baby of my own. I’ve pet sit for dogs that have more specific feeding requirements, applied medication, and helped give oral medications. I also provide daily photos to reassure you while you miss your babies. While I do not have a yard, my complex has a dog run and a dog park that are within walking distance from my apartment.

Frank had a great time!

Victoria was so communicative and flexible. Such a kind and caring dog walker!

For anyone like myself in need of someone with experience with reactive doggos, I'd 10000% recommend her! My dog is reactive, likes to chase critters but Victoria was able to redirect and care for my little girl. She put mind and fears at ease while I was away (one less stressor to worry about while on vacation). She understood my misunderstood doggo and her special needs (medicationneeds) 10/10 on communication 10/10 on following care plan 10/10 Would recommend and book again.
My dog Stella, has always been hesitant to meet new people, a harsh resource guarded, and has high needs when it comes to feedings and medication. Victoria was able to sooth my worries with leaving her behind on work trips by fostering great moments with her in such a short amount of time. Stella took to her well, and was able to go on walks and eat her food without any fuss. I received pictures and updates on how she is doing so that my own anxiety was lessen. She followed all of my instructions and my dog’s high needs so well that Stella would whine when she would leave, which is not an easy thing to do. I appreciate her as a pet caregiver and how dedicated she is to loving my pet as if it was her own.
