I have an 11 year old male Brittany who gets along with other dogs. I live in the country and do not have a fenced in yard. I would use a leash for potty breaks.

I have adopted dogs from the humane society and also purchased puppies from dog breeders. I have crate trained puppies and I am comfortable giving medications. I have had all sorts of animals growing up and within the last 25 years we have gravitated towards the Brittany hunting breed. My current Brittany is a senior at 11 years old and within the past 2 years has undergone ACL surgeries on both back legs. I am capable and dependable in caring for a dog recovering from a surgical procedure if that service would be required.
