I am a retired teacher who has had pets my whole life. My own children are grown and I am out of the classroom and thrive on taking care of beloved pets - my own and others. I am a hiker and enjoy having canine company when I walk. I will treat your family members with safe, loving kindness. I am involved with rescue work. Both of my dogs are rescues. My Cocker Spaniel was rescued after spending 6 years as a breeder in a puppy mill. I look at each dog I encounter as an individual with their own unique needs based on their temperament and background. This means that I am flexible when dealing with pups. I love cats but don't have one of my own because one of my dogs is reactive to them. I take care of friends' cats in their own homes.

Best sitter ever!!! Vicky is a wonderful caregiver. I booked her to watch over my cats for a few days while I went out of town. She came over to meet them before I left and asked questions to clarify my instructions, which I appreciate. She sent detailed updates and photos for every visit. I couldn't recommend Vicky more!
This is the second time we have used Vicky. She takes great care of our dog and sends lots of updates and pictures. I would definitely recommend her to care for your pet.

I would highly recommend Vicky. There was excellent communication before and during our dog - Diggs - overnight stay with her and her two “girls”. She provided ample updates including pictures. It was comforting to know Diggs was being so well cared for. We would definitely use her again.
Vicky watched our golden doodle Enzo for a long weekend. Enzo is very energetic and can be a bit much. We loved getting the pictures from Vicky and she was always quick to text back when we checked in on him. I would definetly use Vicky again!!
I trust Vicky with my fur babies when I go out of town. She’s great with them—she is a master in the art of snuggles and really pays attention to the dogs’ needs. I feel confident and safe leaving them in her care!

Schedule
I am retired and have a very flexible schedule. I have the freedom to arrange my schedule according to the needs of the dogs in my home.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in tard and two friendly dogs to keep your dog comfortable. My dogs are never left unattended even in the fenced in yard. I am always out with them when they are out. I am an experienced foster of dogs recently released from puppy mills. These dogs are flight risks so safety is always my first concern with any dog in my care. I use the two leash protocol when walking dogs. I will only board dogs when i do not have a foster dog.
