Availability
I work from home every day, mainly from our large extension - so I am 'present' for any pet guests we have staying.. The only day I am out is Wednesday and Thursday from 9.45am but your pet would still get a long walk in the morning and a shorter one in the evening as I am home by 4pm - 4.30pm. Oh, and my friends call me Skip, although my legal name is Vicky. 😊

Information Vicky O. would like to know about your pet
I would need to know whether your dog is: Toilet trained, can roam free off the lead, is nervous around other dogs, has good recall.
A typical day
We would go an exciting adventure every day into the Surrey Hills, Leith Hill, the public footpaths right outside our home, varying walks and if your dog needs a swim then I know where there are streams and waterways. Despite Rover advertising 30 min walks I always take owner’s dogs out for an hour if I have two dogs.

Pet care experience
I live with my long term lovely partner (also a pet lover) in the foothills of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with country walks outside our front door. We are a personable, physically fit couple. We had one small old dog called Boo, who has now died (at the grand old age of 21) and a charming very resilient and dog-friendly cat called, Puss Puss. I vary our walks to keep our canine minds agile and curious, after all it's what dogs live for. I can be flexible with timings and as such will happily walk one dog at a time or pairs of dogs that know each other or communicate well, as it is important to me to always be attentive to their needs. I also do a scamper in the evening to help our furry friends sleep better when they are boarding with us. I'm happy to warm shower smaller dogs so they can then enjoy a cuddle on the sofa. I have a large extension where we mostly reside so dogs and cats are never alone and we have double doors leading out into the secured garden. I have had dogs and cats all my life and grown up children who live away from home. I have good interpersonal skills, so it's easy to communicate with me.

Reviews

Skip was great with Lottie and really looked after her.
Skip is a wonderful dog sitter. The dogs adored their time with her and nothing was too much trouble. We met beforehand to go through everything and were sent regular updates during the stay. We would not hesitate in recommending her.

Skip looked after our Border Collie, Weller, on 22nd and 25th October when we were up in London. Weller was so happy and enjoyed long walks and plenty of attention. Skip sent regular photos and updates so we knew he was happy, which is so nice. Skip is lovely - bright and chatty, happy and helpful and Weller loves her! We would highly recommend Skip.
Skip and her partner were FABULOUS! They kept me updated daily with so many snaps of them having the best time with my dog Ziggy. I honestly felt he was taken really good care of and they treated him like their own. Ziggy is a nervous dog but Skip is informed and experienced with dog behavior and rescues. Highly recommend them and will be using them again for sure 🥰 Thank you xx
