Home full time; walks; fenced yard
I am retired, am home full time and have no other pets in my home. I love all breeds from small to large; I used to own Labrador Retrievers. I LOVE to go on long walks, but would make sure to know the dog’s limit. I can administer medications. I have a large shaded back yard with two large pine trees and a cedar tree, as well as shrubs along the brick wall. I have a canine GPS device that I can use on walks, to show you where we have walked. I send you pictures and updates each day. Your dog would be very well cared for in my home.

Vickie was awesome. She was available on short notice and flexible about arrival and pickup times. When we dropped our dogs off, it was obvious that Vickie is a “dog person.” Her home and fenced yard are wonderful for dogs. When we went back to pick them up, our little one didn’t want to leave. We will definitely use Vickie again when in the Tucson/Green Valley area!
Vicki is absolutely fabulous! We are so blessed to have her care for Buddy. She is so sweet, kind and gentle. Buddy is treated like a king! We highly recommend Vicki. We are thrilled to have her and so very thankful to have such a safe, fun and happy place for Buddy to go to.
Vickie was excellent! Bailey loved her right away and was totally relaxed with her - enjoyed snuggling and napping and going for walks. I appreciated that Vickie communicated with me frequently through pictures and messages. We will definitely ask for Vickie again!
Vickie was great with Otto ! When I picked Otto up, he was a happy dog. She has a fenced in yard and Otto could go in and out when he wanted to . Otto is an insecure dog and she was very good with him.
Vickie has the kindest and most considerate heart! She is such a caring person and loves animals. Vickie is very watchful and alert to any needs or changes in animal's demeanor or physical condition and is quick to respond with the needed care. She is proactive in making sure that all needs are met and medications are available. She has cared for several dogs throughout their life cycles and has dealt with health issues and making accommodations when needed. Vickie is also very fun and fun-loving! She is active and loves being outdoors and going for walks and hikes. Vickie would make an excellent care taker for any dog!

Schedule
I’m home full time and would leave the house only for a short trip to the grocery store if needed. I sometimes take dogs to PetCo to walk and browse around the store (for socialization). They get a free treat!

I have a brick walled, shaded large back yard with tall pine and cedar trees, as well as hedges along 2 sides of the walls. I have a GPS collar.
A typical day
Walks in my neighborhood (at the least) and surrounding area (depending on the dog's stamina and physical capability) - in hot weather walks are usually early morning or sundown, dog park nearby, fetch, catch and play in the living room or back yard, Doggie massages.
