Hello! I am a student in Nelson and would absolutely love to take care of your dogs, cats and porcupines (maybe there's some in Nelson!). I grew up with dogs (among other pets) and during the pandemic I cared and lived with an 11 year old Great Pyrenees, which was truly magical. I am in my early thirties and would love to eventually adopt my own pooch but until then, I look forward to hearing from you how to provide the best care possible for your furry. Outside of pet care, I am a childcare provider and dance artist.

I am happy to administer medication or follow any specific care plans for your pup. I will study at home, so expect for your pet to receive consistent attention and cuddles. I also try to get out into nature for a few hours every day - I love being outside, especially going for strolls through parks, rain or shine :) I am active, responsible, and sensitive to supporting each pet's needs. From extra patience to high-energy play, I will care for your pet as my own. I'm excited to meet you both! Dogs must be house-trained and with no fleas, ticks, or worms. Please let me know about your dog's personality and what their daily routine looks like in terms of food/exercise/bathroom/etc so I can take the best care possible.

Vicki is a fantastic pet caregiver. She has watched my dog for brief and long periods of time and always provides incredible care. Her experience is evident as my dog returns calm and happy. Vicki is trustworthy and very communicative which makes it easy to leave a pet with her. Couldn't recommend her enough!
Vicki is great with dogs and people. She's got lots of experience taking care of kids and working within family rules and parent expectations and applies the same principles to her care of animals. She's attentive and obviously enjoys being with animals (I'm a dog-owner, but have seen her with other animals), but will also abide by any family rules for pets when needed so that pets feel well-loved but maintain their good behaviours.
Vicki is an entirely capable, empathetic, kind and reliable person. She is healthy and competent, a wonderful and responsible choice for pet care and walking.

Schedule
I am a student in Nelson and am flexible in timing! I am available for overnight stays and can be in the house studying or out walking for dogs throughout the day.
