I am a retired Secondary Ed. Teacher. I have been in Colorado since 2021 being a grandma and re-loving our family dog and 2 cats. I am flexible with times and meetings of your pet care needs. I can’t wait for the next meeting and adventure.

I am happy to stay in your home with your pet(s), and/or take them for walks nearby or a favorite destination of theirs or mine if allowed. I will gladly mow your lawn while you are away and water your plants! I have Farm Animal Experience, attending to their morning and night time needs. I have cared for brand new kittens, puppies and elderly dogs and cats. I have administered medication and assisted with special needs of animals. I have found myself as a Hospice aide with several aging pups in my life.

I feel it is important to know your pets personality, language/word understanding, favorite toys, treats, meal and bed time rituals, any medications needed and potty habits.
A typical day
I am happy to offer any activity or non-activity needed for your pet. I love to go for walks. Staying in the home area is fine. I don’t feel a need to take animals other places, but am happy to find trails, parks and explore. If they have a favorite game or activity they love and will miss while you are away, I want to know. I always spend extra time with any animal visit and am happy to walk your pup longer if ever needed.

Vicki was very sweet towards our 2 cats. I was very nervous about leaving them behind as it was the first time they’ve been alone for that long, and alone with a stranger, but Vicki was very kind and gentle with the cats and was patient. She even got my very anti social kitty to come out. I also loved the updates she gave and all of the photos of my kitties she sent. I highly recommend Vicki if you want a good pet sitter :)
