I don’t have a pet right now because my landlord won’t allow it, which is exactly why I’m here. I’d love for pet care to be part of my daily life again. I’m active and love having a buddy with me out and about, but I can just as easily take it easy and lounge with a pet who needs some relaxation. I match their energy and needs. Selfishly, being around animals brings me joy and energy. Unselfishly, I genuinely care about giving pets what they need, and sending them home happier and healthier than I found them.

Information Vicente L. would like to know about your pet
1. Personality and behavior: are they shy, social, chill, or anxious? Good with kids and other dogs? Any triggers I should know about (bikes, strangers, birds)? Do they bark or pull on the leash? 2. Energy level: High, medium, or low? Are they okay with running? 3. Owner preferences: Do you prefer they socialize or keep to themselves? Preferred walk length and routes? 4. Potty and schedule: Any unique potty habits or needs? What’s their typical food, walk, and potty schedule? 5. Leash and safety: Are they off-leash trained? Any escape tendencies I should know about? 6. Allergies, restrictions, and special care: Any dietary restrictions, allergies, medications, or special needs? 7. Vet and emergency info: Vet name and number, plus a local emergency contact in case you’re unreachable. 8. Additional notes: Anything else that helps me take the best care of your pup!
A typical day
It really depends on their personality! But for me, the ideal day starts with a long walk or run to a park or the beach, where we can explore, play, and just chill. If they’re social, we’ll find other dogs and people to meet along the way. If they’re more of a homebody, we can slow it down and lounge. Maybe grab a pup cup from a local coffee shop. For full days or overnight stays, we’ll get in a few walks, good playtime, and plenty of rest, food, and water in between to make sure we’re fueled for the next adventure!

Pet care experience
I grew up in a farm town surrounded by animals and had pets of my own my whole childhood. I whole days with neighbors’ and family’s pets, not because I had to, but because I just really loved being around them. I never got paid. I just loved it. That hasn’t changed. This is my way of staying connected to animals and giving them the kind of care I always have: unconditional, attentive, and full of energy. Your dog will be fed, walked, played with, and absolutely happy and tuckered out by the time you see them again. That’s my promise.
Reviews
Vicente is an extremely caring a loving individual when it comes to animals of all kinds. I have had him care for my dogs on more than one occasion while I am out of town and he is great with them. Couldn't recommend someone better to work with Rover!
Vicente is incredible with animals. He is really comfortable around pets and is experienced walking dogs and handling their every day needs. One of his close friends has a dog, Scout, who he takes care of multiple times a month. He’s so attentive to Scout’s needs, making sure she gets her walks in, that she’s fed on time, bathing her when needed, and dedicating lots of time to playing with her and showing her love. I would fully trust him to watch any of my pets.
