After I lost my first dog after 16 years, I took some time off from pet ownership. But I got my fill of pet love by taking care of a friend's pets who relied on me for walking, overnight boarding, feeding, and caring for their pets. Although I have a pet now, I still love to help others

Vesta took excellent care of our dog and even took him on nice long walks and played lots of fetch. She was also very responsive and sent lots of great pictures and updates. Would definitely book again!

Vesta was great with Evie during our weeklong vacation. She sent lots of updates and even dropped her off post visit since she was running errands in our neighborhood. Evie came home tired and happy. We definitely plan to use her again!
Vesta took such good care of Bruno. We received daily pics and updates while he was in her care. Bruno required extra work with his daily meds and wearing a cone. Vesta took notes when I dropped Bruno off. You can tell he really cares for animals. We can’t wait to have Bruno visit with her again soon!
Vesta is incredible! She shared regular updates, took excellent care of our dog Mabel, and gave her plenty of exercise, including hikes, a camping trip, walks, and lots of fetch. Vesta was also extremely kind and accommodating when we had to extend Mabel’s stay due to a health issue with our son. It can be hard to leave your pup with someone- you can feel confident that your furry friend is in very good hands with Vesta. Highly recommend and will absolutely be booking with Vesta again.

Schedule
I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I am able to play and walk pets throughout the day as necessary. I have a teenage son who also helps me out as needed.

I have a fenced yard. I am available to stop at the client's house and check in / play with pets. I can board a pet in my house as long as they are good with other dogs. I live close to a dog park and trails

A typical day
I like to take the pets to the fenced in area to throw the ball and let them tun around. I always follow up with a walk after. I also live close to the trails that I like walking on or when it is dry and not muddy, I like to go hiking with the dogs if they are up to it.

- Let me know in advance if your dog has any special needs. My dog is pretty high energy and loves to play, regardless of the size of the dog. So if they need to be taken a special care and cannot be around energetic dogs, I won't be a good fit.
