Hello! My name is Veru, and I run a private, small family-owned home dog retreat in Riverside, RI. I work from home full-time and live a very active lifestyle, which allows me to provide flexible, attentive, and personalized care throughout the day. I began offering my services through Rover and have worked with many different pets of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds. I also have previous experience providing pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking for friends and family. Your dog will stay in a calm, clean, cage-free home never in loud kennels or overcrowded facilities. I design each stay around your pet’s normal routine so they feel safe, relaxed, and at home. My daughter, a college student, works by my side and can also provide in-home care at your residence if preferred, allowing your pet to remain in their familiar environment. What makes us different: • No cages • No strict restrictions or time limits • We follow your routine — or can implement ours • Park trips, neighborhood walks, bike-path walks, and beach walks (weather permitting) • Apartment complex dog park access • Limited dogs, full attention • Daily photo & video updates Your dog becomes part of our home, many guests even sleep with me for extra comfort, unless you prefer they sleep in their own bed. Veru was wonderful! Alfie stayed for entire week and I did not have any concerns about his care while I was away. I received daily photos and videos. It was like Alfie was at camp for a week having fun and getting to play with other dogs Veru was providing care for. There were several walks to the park daily which was perfect for my little bundle of energy. When I picked up and brought him home he was exhausted from all of the fun! Alfie will be happy to return next time he needs a sitter❤️
Veru was incredible! Her communication was fantastic and she kept us up to date with pics/videos. Our dog has a lot of anxiety and she came home happy. We can tell she treated our dog like one of her own.
Veru left me in Awe! I am extremely happy with her services and I must add that my dog was extremely happy as well! She sent me daily updates several times a day and even gave us cute little bags with her info on it which I loved! If you’re looking for someone to give your dog the same love and attention you do..she is def the one! Park visits several times a day so your dog will def get the excercise they need with Veru! Thank you Veru for taking care of my Bobby. Veru is a wonderful pet sitter who takes her job very seriously. She is very loving and treated Bobby as her own. I'm not sure he got to miss us the two days we were away. I would definitely feel comfortable leaving Bobby in her care again. She kept us up to date every day and evening with videos and pictures of his adventures. I can understand why everyone has nothing but the nicest things to say of her. I'm very blessed and greatful to have found her. 🙏 ❤️ 💙 💜
Veru is absolutely incredible, I cannot recommend her enough! She watched our dog for a week while we were away and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our dog is a rescue and can be shy/anxious in new environments. Veru was so understanding of her needs and patient with her - our pup was cuddling up to Veru in no time! Veru sent frequent updates, adapted to our existing schedules, and took her to the park often for walks and pup visits. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you, Veru!!!
We booked with Veru for the first time while I was having surgery. It was a huge comfort to get all of her updates, videos, and pictures of our boy and girl having a blast. She was thoughtful, flexible, and took great care of our dogs. We will definitely book with her in the future.

Schedule
I have a remote job, If you are hiring me for housesitting / daycare / boarding, you can sure l will likely be with your pet all day long. Note: My daycare rate is $45 for stays between 1 and 10 hours. If care extends beyond 10 hours, an extended care fee of $25 will apply. The final total is calculated and adjusted at the end of the booking based on the actual pickup time.

Your pup’s trust and comfort are my top priority. I follow their regular routine as closely as possible so they feel safe, relaxed, and at home. Every pet has a unique personality and individual needs, and I take the time to understand and accommodate each one. For added safety and peace of mind, I also use GPS tracking during walks and outings until your pet is safely returned to you.

A typical day with me includes peaceful neighborhood walks, exploring nearby parks and trails, playtime, rest, and lots of love. We enjoy getting fresh air, discovering new spots to explore, and sometimes even stopping for ice cream along the way.
