Hi! I’ve had dogs all my life and have cared for everything from cats and hamsters to senior dogs and puppies in training. I’m comfortable with all temperaments, including pets with behavioral challenges. I also have experience with leash training, basic commands, and senior care. I treat every animal like family and do my best to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

I also a big black lab—nicknamed the “gentle giant”—who gets along well with other dogs. Our cat tends to keep to himself and can easily be separated if needed, so everyone stays comfortable. I’m also happy to care for pets in their own homes if that’s what they’re more comfortable with. I follow any instructions closely to make sure your pet feels secure and well-cared-for while you’re away. Whether it’s at your place or mine, I always aim to keep pets happy, safe, and stress-free.

I can’t recommend Veronika enough! They took amazing care of my German Shepherd during a multi-day boarding stay at their place. My dog can be reactive and isn’t usually friendly with other dogs, so I was nervous—but he immediately bonded with their Lab, which was such a relief.
Veronika is amazing! She watched my senior dog, Lulu, for a few nights and took such great care of her. She has hip issues and sometimes needs help getting up, but Veronika was super patient with her and attended to her needs. Lulu is really getting old and the care she gives her is above and beyond. I know she really cares for her.

I’m currently not working a traditional 9–5 job, as I’m focusing on home projects and renovations. I spend most of my time at home—either doing touch-ups inside or working in the yard—so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods. I’m around throughout the day to give them plenty of attention, care, and playtime.

- To make sure your pet is comfortable, safe, and well cared for, I’d love to know a few things in advance: • Feeding schedule and any dietary needs • Whether they use a crate at night or when left alone • Physical abilities—do they enjoy long walks or prefer shorter ones? • How they interact with other dogs • Any disabilities, medical conditions, or if they need daily medications • Specific behavioral traits I should be aware of (like anxiety triggers, resource guarding, etc.) The more I know, the better I can tailor their care and give them the attention and routine they’re used to!
