Lifelong Animal Lover with Shelter
I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have been lucky to spend my life caring for them in many different ways. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and bunnies, so being around animals feels completely natural to me. I currently work at an animal shelter, where I care for pets with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and needs. This experience has taught me how to read animal behavior, stay calm in new situations, and provide patient, compassionate care, especially for pets who may be shy, nervous, or adjusting to a new environment. In addition to shelter work, I’ve also worked at a doggy daycare, gaining hands-on experience with group play, structured routines, and safe supervision. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a calm presence, I tailor my care to what makes them feel most comfortable and happy. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize safety, communication, and trust. I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and I’m committed to giving you peace of mind, and your pet lots of love. :)

I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I take the time to learn each pet’s needs, preferences, and personality, from feeding schedules and walks to playtime, medication, and cuddle preferences. Because I work at an animal shelter and have experience in a doggy daycare, I’m attentive to behavior, safety, and stress signals. I provide calm, patient care and adjust my approach based on each pet’s energy level and comfort. I make sure pets get appropriate exercise, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. In a client’s home, I respect the space and keep everything clean and consistent. I also send regular updates and photos so owners feel confident and connected while they’re away. My goal is always to create a positive, low-stress experience and treat every pet as if they were my own.

Veronika is a highly skilled and compassionate dog caregiver! for the last several years, she has worked part-time at Animal Alliance, an animal shelter where I am the director. She is incredibly talented with dog handling and interactions no matter what size/breed dog it is. she supervises dog playgroups and works one on one with the dogs on training and socialization. Veronika is very kind, pleasant, and a pleasure to work with. it's easy to see how much she loves dogs! she's GREAT with dogs of all temperaments from goofy and friendly to difficult. I fully endorse her as a dog walker and/or petsitter and would highly recommend her services. Veronika is honest, trustworthy, and reliable. she has never missed a day of work, and frequently fills in on other shifts to help out. she is respectful and kind to everyone she meets. she is a wife and mom and lives locally. no worries about trusting her in your home and with your beloved pet! you cannot do better than Veronika for your dog's well-being and care!

Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my routine, as I have a flexible schedule and am available most days between 8:30 AM and 5 PM. I plan my day around pets’ needs to ensure consistent, attentive care.
