Friendly Somerset Pet Mum for Hire
Hello and thank you for considering me to look after your furbaby. I've been an animal lover all my life and I've been a mum to four dogs (a chihuahua, a fox terrier mix, a Scottish terrier and an American Pitbull), 2 ragdoll cats, one rabbit, one pet rat, several parrots and budgies, two turtles and 3 goldfish. I now live in Ilchester with my husband and two cats. I'm really interested in pet nutrition, wellbeing and enrichment and I love spending time with furry, feathered or scaly friends. I have experience with shy/nervous dogs as two of our family dogs were quite timid around strangers. I'm fit and active so walks are never a problem and I enjoy providing some indoor play / training exercises too for curious doggies. I'm just as happy cuddling on the couch if you have a more laid back or senior pup. I know how daunting it can be to find someone to look after my pets when we go away so I decided to offer my services to people in my area. I'm lucky to be working from home so I won't have to leave your pet for long periods of time during the day. If you need someone to look after your dog or cat while you take a much deserved holiday, I'd be happy to help.

I know how worrying it can be when you're leaving your furbaby with someone else. During my stay I'll be sure to follow your pet's routine and any special instructions I'm given. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos. Your pet's wellbeing is my most important priority and I'll treat them with as much love and care as I would my own.

When my partner and I were looking to go away, we wanted someone to look after our cats and dog whilst understanding our animals needs. Veronika was extremely tentative to our pets every needs and provided regular updates and even picked up a small issue with one of our pets claws. From the point of first contact, there has been nothing but positive interaction between us. I would highly recommend Veronika to look after anyones pets without a second thought!
This was the first time that we had left Charlie with someone outside the immediate family so we were a little apprehensive. We needn’t have worried, Veronika was absolutely amazing. From the moment she walked in Charlie was smitten. Regular updates, photos and videos, were sent over the 2 days so we could see how settled he was. In fact, when I finally got home, Charlie sat looking out the window for at least an hour hoping for her return. Thanks Veronika
Veronika recently did a housesit for my little beagle and I couldn't recommend her enough. It was the first time I'd booked her, with a meet and greet beforehand, and it was after Jackson had surgery too. She kept in touch with regular updates, photos and videos and administered his medication while we were away. I returned home to a very happy pup and a spotless house! Thank you Veronika :)

Schedule
I work from home as a part time marketing manager, which makes pet sitting possible. My schedule is also very flexible and I can work from anywhere.
