Pet care experience
Hello and thank you for considering me to look after your furbaby. I've been an animal lover all my life and I've been a mum to four dogs (a chihuahua, a fox terrier mix, a Scottish terrier and an American Pitbull), 2 ragdoll cats, one rabbit, one pet rat, several parrots and budgies, two turtles and 3 goldfish. I now live in Ilchester with my husband and two cats. I'm really interested in pet nutrition, wellbeing and enrichment and I love spending time with furry, feathered or scaly friends. I have experience with shy/nervous dogs as two of our family dogs were quite timid around strangers. I'm fit and active so walks are never a problem and I enjoy providing some indoor play / training exercises too for curious doggies. I'm just as happy cuddling on the couch if you have a more laid back or senior pup. I know how daunting it can be to find someone to look after my pets when we go away so I decided to offer my services to people in my area. I'm lucky to be working from home so I won't have to leave your pet for long periods of time during the day. If you need someone to look after your dog or cat while you take a much deserved holiday, I'd be happy to help.

We had a fantastic experience with Veronika. She came over for a pre-visit before our holiday and was incredibly helpful, taking the time to answer all of our questions. While we were away, she took fantastic care of our dog and kept the house beautifully clean and tidy. Her communication was amazing, and we loved receiving the regular photo and video updates. We felt totally at peace knowing everything was in such good hands. We have already quite happily booked her again for our next break!
Absolutely fantastic service. We found ourselves in a bit of a last-minute bind with our new puppy, and Veronika couldn’t have been more helpful. She took the time to put us completely at ease, even coming over for a pre-visit chat—despite our rescheduling and general back-and-forth. Any initial hesitation on our part quickly disappeared. She’s a genuinely kind and compassionate person with a clear love for animals. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
Veronika was fabulous with our two boys, punctual, reliable and kept us updated with photos and messages so we knew they were happy :) She took them for nice long walks and gave them lots of attention. I would certainly ask Veronika to look after Bobby and Clive again, without hesitation.
Veronika looked after our laborador, Max, in our home and took great care and patience to get to know him and to provide him with the best possible care and love. He clearly enjoyed her company and felt safe with her. I had regular updates, videos and photos so I could see how Max was getting on. Veronika also took great care of our house. I wouldn't hesitate to have Veronika look after Max again.
