Custom care. Peace of mind. Hello! I'm Veronica and I love dogs. I have tons of experience with dogs of all sizes, from the giants to the toys and tea cups. I have cared for dogs with all personalities--high energy or slow, friendly or anxious, and everything in between. I am highly adaptable and have handled pups with separation anxiety, reactivity to other dogs or people, pure bred dogs with special needs, all kinds of medications, and rescue dogs who have survived abuse and require special care. Keeping your pup happy and giving you peace of mind through custom care is my business. I stay overnight or drop-in to visit your pup throughout the day. Custom care means that YOU choose the care I give in the privacy of your home. I leave your home as you left it so when you arrive back from your travels, you can relax. If I spend the night, I use my own sheets so no worries about making beds, taking out trash, or doing dishes. I love to follow instructions. Tell me everything you want me to know about your pup. If your dog is happy, then so am I. Meet-and-greets required for new clients. *Why am I not a Star Sitter on Rover?* New clients have been asking me this question. I keep a small group of regular clients who have been with me for years. I accept only a small number of new clients based on their service needs and location. Some need my services only once or twice a year and that is fine by me. My work focuses on QUALITY, not quantity. I keep my business small on purpose. I do not balance my business with any other paid work. Unfortunately, Rover grants Star Sitter status to providers who recruit a high volume of clients on a monthly basis--and that is not how I run my business.

I am both a parent and dog mom so safety always comes first. I take great care to become acquainted with your dog and learn all about their routines, quirks, and how to keep them happy. Please let me know about your pup's recall and whether they eat non-food objects. Please list all medications in the Rover app and on paper in bullet form for accuracy and quick reference. I am responsible, reliable, and punctual. I have passed security clearances with Montgomery County Public Schools and even with the US Department of State. I serve only a small number of clients and so I can be there when your pups are in need. Is your flight delayed? No worries, I have your back. Your peace of mind is my goal.

Veronica was absolutely wonderful! She is incredibly diligent, responsible, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. She kept me updated throughout each visit with thoughtful messages and great photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious that my dogs were well cared for and received plenty of attention and affection. She followed all of my instructions carefully, was reliable, and treated my home with respect. I came home to two happy, well-cared-for pups, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book Veronica again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and communicative pet sitter!

Veronica is a great sitter- she stayed at our house for a week with 3 pups and managed all of their particular personalities with ease! She sent a ton of photos which was so reassuring while we were out of town. She went out of her way to take out the trash and recycling without us even letting her know what day collections were and the house was very tidy when we returned. We would definitely book her again!

I am a full-time care provider. My services are tailored entirely to your needs. I am experienced, trustworthy, and safety-oriented. Your peace of mind is my top priority. Your pups will be safe and cared for. I love to follow instructions and give your pups the best possible care and companionship while you are away from home. Speaking of your home, I take care of it all. I monitor mail and packages and bring them safely inside, water plants, wash dog dishes, empty dehumidifiers, clean up after pets indoors or out, run laundry, take out trash, recycling, etc. Your home will be as clean and tidy as you left it and your pup will be happy and healthy.
