Custom care is my business. My goal is your peace of mind for both your dog and your home. I'm Veronica and I have years experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. High energy or low, friendly or anxious, young or old, I care for them all. I care for pups with separation anxiety, reactivity, pure bred dogs and mutts, dogs with special needs, medications, and rescue dogs who have survived abuse and require special attention. What kind of care does your dog need? I can stay overnight or make daytime and nighttime visits for your pup. Custom care means that YOU choose the kind of care your dog needs in the privacy of your home. I leave your house and yard cleaner than when you left it. You can relax when you come home since I tidy up, take out the trash, attend to deliveries, and take care of anything else your home requires. No need to make the bed--when I spend the night, I use my own sheets. I love to follow instructions. Tell me everything you want me to know about your pup and your home. If your dog is happy, then so am I. Meet-and-greets required for new clients. *Why am I not a Star Sitter on Rover?* New clients have asked me this question. Star Sitter status rewards volume. If you book lots of clients, you are called a Star Sitter. Even sitters with only a month's experience can be given Star status. I strive for QUALITY, not quantity and my clients stay with me for years. When I have a busy month, I receive the Star Sitter status. But I keep my business small on purpose and I never overbook. Other sitters juggle dogsitting with a full-time job and some dogsit for multiple dogs at the same time. I focus exclusively on YOUR dog. When you book with me, you can count on me to be there for your dog.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety always comes first. I take care to become acquainted with your dog and learn all about their routines, quirks, and how to keep them happy. Please let me know about your pup's recall and whether they eat non-food objects. Please list all medications in the Rover app and on paper in bullet form for accuracy and quick reference. I am responsible, reliable, and punctual. I have passed security clearances with Montgomery County Public Schools and even with the US Department of State. I serve only a small number of clients and so I can be there when your pups are in need. Is your flight delayed? No worries, I have your back. Your peace of mind is my goal.

Veronica was a fantastic sitter for my 2 year old Redbone Coonhound River! She kept me updated from the second she stepped through the door until she left. She sent multiple pictures and updates everyday and answered and questions I had promptly and without delay. She is a life saver! I couldn't have asked for a better person to house sit for River. She's beyond great!!

Veronica is absolutely wonderful. She took such loving, attentive care of my two dogs, and I felt completely at ease knowing they were with her. Schedule
I am a full-time care provider. I provide custom care for my clients and follow their instructions. I am experienced, trustworthy, and safety-oriented. Your peace of mind is my goal. I administer medications and follow routines to keep your pup happy and calm. I do light housekeeping. You will find your home in the same condition in which you left it. I bring my own sheets so no need for you to deal with extra laundry. I pick up mail and packages, water plants, wash dog dishes, empty dehumidifiers, clean up after pets, and take out trash and recycling.
