Hiya! I’m Veronica and I adore animals. I’ve had kitties my entire life. My little loves have passed away. My Tabby, Jack Daniels in 2020. And my Tabby/Tortie, Spaz, in 2021. Jack Daniels was the most laid-back dude. Spaz was the Queen and let everyone know it 😉 Honestly, there’s a piece of my heart missing but I’m not ready to adopt. I miss being around animals and would like to be more often. I’m very well known for stopping mid-sentence when I see a dog and saying “doggo!” I have experience with all kinds of kitties, including 2 that had health issues; digestion and hyperthyroidism. Dogs, I’ve pet sit for my friends. An Austrian Shepherd that was deaf along with a larger-than-life Husky. An American Bulldog. And a Husky/Dane Mix. So, what can I offer you? Well, I loved getting pics of my little loves when I was away, so I can guarantee that I would do the same for you and your fur babies. I’ll also treat your fur baby with kindness, love and give lots of scritches. Have a good one 😊

Veronica is a certified pet lover! She has looked after my doggo Balto a few times for me and she has taken excellent care of her. My dog isn’t an easy dog (needs to take daily pills and is reactive to other dogs on walks) so I truly need someone I can fully trust to look after her needs the way that works best for her. I have complete peace of mind whenever Vee looks after my special dog because of her attention to detail and eagerness to ensure that my animal is taken care of to the fullest extent of my expectations. She is a huge asset!
I've had her take care of my mini zoo while traveling. My two dogs and two cats were loved and well taken care of. Pictures were sent daily to keep me informed and any updates that were needed were well communicated. 5 stars out of 5 for sure and would definitely recommend to anyone.
To whom it concerns, Veronica is very responsible in all her activities. An avid animal lover, she was and is around family pets for all her life and as well as a pet owner. Veronica was instrumental in starting the advertising for local pet adoption agencies “Paw-tential Furry Friends” ensuring that a “Pet of the week” was broadcasted on Rogers Ottawa/Smith Falls radio stations. This was extended to other local shelters including “Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue, Freedom Do rescue, and Lanark Animal Welfare Society’ to name a few. She has eagerly taken care of friend’s and family pets through the years with loving care and attention. Some pets were very shy and aloof, but Veronica quickly became friends and sought out for attention. Schedule
My schedule is flexible. I can absolutely be in my home with your cutie more often than not, allowing them to feel more comfortable while you’re away.

I have a spacious 1 bedroom apartment. Always clean. No clutter. You're more than welcome to let me know if something needs to be out of the way for when your little love is here.
A typical day
I’d love to go for walks with your doggo. I don’t have a fenced in yard, so I am limited for physical activity. But I do love to walk, and can play with them in my home.
