I’ve been caring for animals since I was five years old, and it’s been a lifelong passion ever since. As a young adult, I volunteered with the Humane Society, where I cared for pregnant cats and dogs—often assisting through labor and nursing. I’ve raised litters of puppies and kittens until they were old enough for adoption, and I’ve provided love and comfort to senior and injured animals in their final days. I also grew up helping at my uncle’s veterinary clinic, where I learned how to meet the needs of animals with all types of temperaments, conditions, and medical requirements. That hands-on experience taught me how to provide attentive, gentle, and informed care—especially for young puppies, seniors, or pets needing special attention. Whether your pet needs playtime, patience, or just a peaceful place to feel safe, I’m here to make sure they feel right at home.

At my home, pets enjoy a safe and spacious environment with access to a fully fenced half-acre yard—perfect for play, fresh air, and exercise. I also have a friendly, medium-sized dog who loves to socialize and makes a great companion for pups who enjoy playtime with others. Whether it’s outdoor fun or indoor snuggles, I tailor the experience to each pet’s personality and needs. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a comfortable and familiar environment for them. I follow any routines or preferences shared by the owner, and pay close attention to the pet’s behavior and comfort levels. Whether that means going on walks, offering extra cuddles, or engaging in playtime, I adapt to what each pet needs to feel safe, happy, and loved.

Veronica was very kind and reassuring when we left our senior dog. Her dog Hugo accepted Mel as part of the family and gave her a companion for the week. Veronica sent pictures and videos and it was clear our dog was happy and being loved. We drove over 1 hour to have Veronica keep Mel in her home. When we came to pick Mel up, she kept running back inside the house instead of the car. That is all that needs to be said. Proof of a happy dog! I had a wonderful meet and greet with Veronica. I booked a playdate and my anxious, nervous dog did so great at her house and with her dog. Veronica is super!! She is great with communication and details. She has lots of experience with dogs and my dog warmed up to her very fast. I was surprised since he is so timid. I am excited to have a dog sitter so close to my home and I completely trust Veronica with my dog.
Veronica was very attentive to Buster our dog, and we needed her services last minute and was very accommodating and kind. Buster had a great time playing with her and Hugo. Would definitely book again.

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m home from work 3 to 5 days every other week, which gives me the time and availability to provide midday walks, playtime, social interaction, and lots of love (plus treats!). Whether it’s a quick potty break or a longer stay, I’m able to be present and hands-on with each pet in my care.
