I currently own a friendly Golden Retriever, whom I potty trained and taught basic commands. I’ve also helped care for my family’s and friend’s dogs. I’m comfortable with small, medium and larger dogs and enjoy playing with them, taking them on walks, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I genuinely love dogs and will treat your pet with the same patience, care, and kindness I give my own.

We will 100% be booking with Veronica again next time we are in town. She accepted our last minute booking and was extremely kind and thorough. She stayed in contact with me the entire time and sent multiple photos/ updates throughout our Chewbacca's one night stay with her. This was our first time leaving our rescue puppy with anybody overnight so i was very hesitant, but Veronica put my mind at ease. She was so gentle with our fur baby. He enjoyed her and her dog's companionship. A great host. 10/10 recommend.
I want to start off first saying, Veronica is a very attentive, caring and amazing dog sitter. She has taken care of both of my energetic huskies, Star and Luna. I know they can be a handful but she has done such a great job caring for them, providing a safe, fun and loving environment. Amazing costumer service to my special request or questions for both my dogs. I left with such confidence that my dogs would be in good hands after leaving for the weekend and I was very correct about that. They really enjoyed their stayed and definitely recommend leaving your pets under the care with Veronica. Bless your heart for being such a loving and caring person towards my two dogs.

Schedule
I have a flexible work schedule, and work remotely from home at times. I’m fully home Friday through Sunday, and during the week I’m typically only away for a few hours at a time. This gives me plenty of time to provide regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, attention, and companionship throughout the day.

I care for pets in my home, so your dog will receive plenty of attention and supervision. I have a large, fully fenced backyard with natural grass, turf, and a dirt area for outdoor play and potty breaks. I also have an enclosed sunroom with dog beds and plenty of toys, and pets are welcome inside our home as well. I have one dog, a friendly 3-year-old spayed Golden Retriever who loves playing with dogs of all sizes. I understand that not every dog is comfortable around new dogs, so we have multiple areas of our home that allow us to safely separate the dogs when needed and give each pet their own space. I also have several crates available if your dog is crate-trained or feels more comfortable having one. I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood, and I’m happy to take your dog on walks either individually or with my Golden Retriever, depending on your dog’s personality, comfort level, and routine. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while following the care instructions you provide.

A typical day
I love making sure pets feel comfortable, happy, and entertained while they stay with me. We can enjoy walks around my dog-friendly neighborhood, playtime in my large fenced backyard, toys and games in our enclosed sunroom, and plenty of indoor relaxation and cuddles. If your dog enjoys other dogs, they can also have supervised playtime with my friendly Golden Retriever.
