I’ve had a small dog ever since 7 years old and my family and I have taken care of two cats and a dog since then so I have lots of experience adapting to what your fur family needs. It can be scary leaving your pet behind with a stranger and I totally understand that! I feel the same way with my cat, Lilith. If you’d like to set up a time with me to get to know me and show me the ropes before your trip out, I’m available to make whatever’s comfortable work for you. Having consistently cat-sat in Champaign-Urbana for the last 5 years, I have lots of experience popping in to make sure your fur family isn’t lonely while you’re away. I also make sure to send daily pictures so you’re always aware of what’s going on. Despite my experience mainly being with smaller animals, I’m not afraid to taking care of big dogs and their needs as well! :) I would love to help work something out that fits exactly what you’re looking for.

I don’t house sit since I have a cat waiting at home for me and I can’t board your fur family since my cat dislikes any other animals…but I also believe that having your fur family stay at your place is best for them as well since it’s the environment they’re most comfortable and least stressed in! Again, I emphasizing adapting to the natural routine already established so they would experience the least stress possible. I’m here to make sure that they’re well taken care of while not feeling alone while you guys are gone.

Schedule
Whenever I pet sit, I usually check in the middle of the day (noon-4pm) so I can catch them while they’re awake and make sure everything they need (bathroom, food, water, play) is still in order. I choose this timeframe to catch their highest energy level, but if you want something earlier or later I’m sure we can work it out! I want to best meet your pet’s already established routine so if it’s something different, I’d love to accommodate the best I can. :) Point is, you let me know what to do and I’ll do my best to meet them.
