When pets are in my care, they are my number one responsibility. I believe it's best to keep the routine that your pet is already familiar with. That said, I meet with my client and understand the unique care plan for their pet. My schedule is flexible and can easily adjust based on the care plan for each home.

Diet restrictions (including favourite treats) and exercise routines are top of mind. It is also essential to know the dog's medical and behaviour history. Some dogs have boundaries, so I'd like to be familiar with them to ensure they are protected. Some dogs take regular medication and/or have a strict diet. Knowing their favourite places they like to be scratched is also essential.
A typical day
It's important to me to enjoy each day. When I petsit, I take in the parks and green spaces near the client's home. If your dog is a swimmer, I'm happy to take them to their favourite place to enjoy the water and ensure they are rinsed off and cleaned up before bedtime. I enjoy grooming their ears cleaned, keeping their nails trimmed, and their fur coat looking great. As the previous owner of a Labrador, I am very experienced at regular grooming.

I've been a pet owner most of my life. After my 13-year-old dog passed last year, I missed having animals. Pet sitting is the next best solution for me at this time. I'd be happy to discuss how I might be able to help you step away and take a break while I provide your furry family member with an abundance of snuggles and care.
