Hello. My name is Veronica. I live close to Pleasant Valley High School in Camarillo. I took a break from dog sitting, walking, etc. the past several years as my job required me to be out of town in office on several days. My office work has since changed. I now work only part time (gradually easing into retirement) and work remotely from home. When my beloved Dexter passed away, I rescued my current dog, Dakota. Unfortunately, due to his traumatic start in life, he does not get along with other dogs; therefore, I can no longer watch other pet parents' dogs in my home nor can I stay overnight in their homes. However, I am available to dogsit during the day in your home and also walk your fur babies. I do love to be outdoors. I am an enthusiastic animal lover (the reason for my vegetarian lifestyle). I especially love dogs. I am very active. I regularly hike trails and walk daily. I will text or e-mail you constant updates including photos of your loved one(s) while in my care.

I have had at least two dogs in my family my entire life....and as many as four dogs for many years. My last two senior dogs passed away several years ago, leaving me with only one dog, my Boxer, Dexter, who then passed away almost 3 years ago due to advanced heart failure at age 11. Within a month later, I rescued Dakota, a labrador. I couldn't imagine my home without at least one dog sharing it with me.

She did it again :) Absolutely a pleasure knowing my little girl was safe with Veronica. Pictures/videos every day of the fun times and adventures they took. She ran out of food while I was away so of course Veronica fed her her own dog's food and then even sent some back home with Roo so I could mix it in hers. She was so thoughtful and careful, honestly wasn't worried for a second which is huge for me. This lady is a lifesaver :D
Ive never felt more at ease than I was when Veronica kept my pup. She texted me photos and videos daily to constantly show me how great everything was going. She took Roo hiking and to the beach as well as dog parks and on car rides. I literally cannot have imagined it going any better than it did :) She was so careful with her, always keeping her safety and interest in mind with all the activities they did and again, sent me footage of it all. Although I was away on business, I wasn't worried at all that she was in good hands. When I picked her up, she was calm and happy :) She has dogs of her own so understands the love and attention they need- my dog got along great with hers, I'm sure Roo will miss them all ! perfect experience start to finish :)
Our Ruby, who suffers from anxiety separation, loves her visits with Veronica. It gives us such peace of mind to know that she is not only being well cared for, but happy and content. In addition, Veronica is so accommodating. The service is worth every dime.
Dog Friendly house! There is enough room for them to play, run and sleep. What more can a dog ask for! kuddos for the doggie door too!
Leaving your dog with a stranger is never easy, even when you have good feelings about them. Our anxiety was put at rest from the beginning. Veronica sent us so many updates that included videos and photos, we could tell that Ruby was having the time of her life. Veronica cared for our Ruby as if she were her own, just like she promised.
Veronica is the consummate animal lover and provides the utmost care for them. She provided years of care for a diabetic and ultimately blind dog, including exercise and dietary monitoring, and twice daily insulin administration. She provided care and rehabilitation to a dog affected by Legg-Calve Perthes disease who underwent surgical removal of his hip joint. Veronica even took in my own dog to live with her for several years when I was unable to house him. During that time she was vigilant in his care and rehabilitation over many months due to an ACL injury. She is truly the most dedicated and responsible dog person I know.

About this sitter: I am a passionate animal lover.......the reason I am a vegetarian. I especially love dogs and could not imagine life without at least one dog in my family. I love being outdoors and lead a very active lifestyle.....canyon hikes, beach walks, and neighborhood walks/jogs. My current best friend, Dakota certainly keeps me moving!
