Nursing Student Watching Pets!
Hello my two-legged and four-legged friends! My name is Veronica, and I am a student at SFSU, majoring in Public Health until I can enter the nursing program. I am a student full-time, working as a caregiver and for Rover part-time at this time. I love animals, have a dog and cat back home with my father and 3 cats all to myself at my apartment. I’d be more than happy to watch your animals whenever needed! Please keep in mind this is subject to my availability outside of work and school. For safety reasons, I am now requiring a meet and greet before bookings with owners present. I reserve the right to increase pricing by 10% for hazard pay if the pet exhibits aggressive behavior at any time. If there is no way to resolve aggression issues I reserve the right to cancel the booking outright. This is not something I anticipate, but I ask owners use good judgement when considering their pets needs and what services I am able to safely provide. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I have knowledge of fish-keeping, and am happy to care for them as well while you’re gone at no extra cost. I have limited knowledge of caring for birds, reptiles and small mammals but am happy to learn your pet’s routine and care for them as well. High levels of care may incur additional fees, though I only anticipate this in a very special case. I am also happy to assist with training and reinforce existing commands, but I must be made aware of these needs in advance. Please alert me of any behavioral issues, like leash-pulling or accidents in the home, so I can prepare. Thank you!

Veronica has walked my dog several times now and it’s been seamless every time! She follows all instructions perfectly and when I come home Riley seems super happy/content. Also was able to accommodate a last minute request which was a lifesaver!
Veronica was wonderful. Communicative, follows instructions perfectly, easy to work with, and did a great job with reading my dog’s needs. Would definitely recommend them to others for walks and in-home sitting. :)
Veronica walked my dog twice a day for a week while I was out of town. She was very responsive, timely, and upon return, it seemed like my dog had been well cared for and kept occupied! I’ll definitely ask her for walks again in the future! Thanks Veronica!

Veronica was terrific! We left the house as she was cuddling our old pup and she knew just how to keep her calm (this is the first time Louisa met Veronica). We can't wait to have her help again!

Schedule
I am available: Basically anytime I’m not working or in school! <3 Currently this is after 3:30pm any day of the week, with consideration for commuting to you after that time. Please note that I would need to have some time away for my personal needs and work/class during sitting, so please specify when your pet can be alone and for how long. Please do not contact me if your pet cannot be alone for 8 hours (for in-home house-sitting bookings only!).
