Patience is important when encouraging animals to feel comfortable being around you in their environment and i think i have a pretty good sense of meeting their needs at their own pace. Although treats always help.

I like to be aware of any medications (even if it’s just as needed) or allergies. Also, how comfortable they are encountering other people or animals so we can safely avoid anything triggering or overstimulating.
A typical day
Play is very important for creating a bond and getting some energy out. Some animals just want to cuddle on the couch with me and that is fine too.

I have many years of experience caring for all kinds of animals. It is one of my passions in life. I have worked as a veterinary assistant and pet sit for a number of clients during and after that time. From that experience I am very comfortable following instructions for any meds your pet may need or any other special circumstances. I have two cats but i love spending time with dogs when i can. One of them is a rescue (from the vet) and one was a kitten who showed up at my door a few summers ago. I can't wait to meet your furry friends!
